Maine's Progress Entry 22 (9th Sept 2016) I found her in her craft room, writing something on her working table. I stared at her for a minute. With her brows furrowed, her tongue in between her teeth. She just looked so adorable when she's in deep concentration. I kissed her on the cheek, which made her jump in surprise. "Hi! Sorry, I didn't hear you come in. Kanina kapa ba jan?" She asked me. "Kakarating ko lang. Sobrang focused ka sa ginagawa mo jan ah." I answered, smiling at her. "Halika coffee muna tayo sa baba." She took my hand as we walked out the door. We were sitting by the breakfast counter in the kitchen, enjoying our coffee. I broke the comfortable silence. "How's your day?" I asked, holding her hand. "I am working on my new hat design for the Designer Wars Challenge." She said with a smile as she handed me the paper that she wrote on earlier. I didn't understand what was written there, they were all different signs and symbols written in pink and blue colored pens. Crochet symbols, actually. I smiled and looked at her adoringly.

"The Designer Wars Challenge huh? Ano na naman ang premyo nun kung sakaling manalo ka?" I asked her in amusement. Her eyes widened as she answered, "OMG, Babe! Bragging rights! And, and, and a year supply of Red Heart Boutique yarns! Oooohh, can't wait to get my hands on those beauties! And a feature on next month's issue of Crochet Today magazine." She answered smiling, with a dreamy look in her eyes. "Well, I'm sure you will be able to win it. Ang galing mo kaya! Amg gaganda ng designs mo." I told her encouragingly. She smiled proudly as she finished her coffee. "Thank you, RJ, for always being there for me. Please know that you are my inspiration. I love you forever." She said before giving me a kiss. "I love you too, Maine, very much." My heart is swelling with so much love and happiness. She was in a car accident 3 years ago, which left her immobile for almost a year. With the help of therapy, though she is still struggling with writing her name but she is really good with crochet signs and symbols. Her creative side is actually bringing out the best in her, she is a crochet designer now. And this is her 3rd straight win at the Designer Wars Challenge, and I am the proudest husband ever.

This is the Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn. I just love variegated or multi-colored yarns because I truly suck at color combination so they really are life savers. I haven't tried that out yet since it's only sold abroad but there are yarn sellers who are selling them on retail here, but they are a bit pricey so I have to save for them. Ang ganda niya noh? Just look at the effects on the shawls on the bottom right photo, beautiful! And the slouchy beanie, omigawd! And the scarves, goodness gracious! Naiiyak ako anobayan. That's how passionate I am with yarns, and crochet. Please bear with me. There are lots and lots of yarn variations available and believe me, I haven't tried even a quarter of them. Hopefully soon. I just found out that TLC (minus Left Eye), will be coming to Manila, I think, sometime next year with SVW. That's why I posted the Waterfalls video. And shout out to silentlywriting21 Thank you for your comforting and encouraging words. I am truly happy to have newly found friends here in Wattpad and in this wonderful fandom as well.
