Chapter 6

     Chrissy had gotten the same notification for the party on her phone that same day, and since it was now Friday after school, she was getting ready to leave. As she brushed her hair, she realized that she hadn't seen or heard from Tommy at her house all week since shed told him to scram. Maybe he'd finally taken the hint.
     She rolled her eyes to herself in the bathroom mirror. That dragon was so stubborn, Chrissy would be surprised if he had.
     Shed dressed into her favorite light blue and neon green dress, and looked at herself in the mirror while she decided to think about other things. She smiled with excitement as she remembered that her two best friends would be there: Payton the Deer, and Tanya the Rabbit. Chrissy, Payton and Tanya were the craziest trio in the entire academy. It was around them that Chrissy could really let her wild side out.
     Chrissy looked at the clock. "Shoot!" she exclaimed. She was probably going to be late for the party.
     Frantically, she gathered up her phone and purse, and darted out the door.
