Maybe he's just busy,
He promised that he'd call.
Maybe he just fell asleep,
He works an awful lot.
Maybe he lost his phone,
He never ignores for this long.
Maybe he's at softball practice,

He promised
That he'd never hurt me,
That he'd never tell a lie.
He tells me that he loves me,
Every time we say goodbye.
