It was a calm November morning in the frye household. Leaves were falling off trees and landed on the ground, which created a beautiful pattern of different shades of red, brown, and orange leafs. All was quiet and relaxed -- that is until the calm beautiful morning was interrupted by painful coughing and loud sneezing.

Sitting inside his cozy bed in the basement of the house was Jordan. He was cuddled inside a mountain of fuzzy blankets. Surrounding him was a roll of toilet paper, a metal bowl he used to throw up in, and a thermometer that read 102* F .

Jordan groaned and buried his head in his pillow, pulling the blankets around him in an attempt to get warmer. He's been like this for two days. Two whole days!!! He'd been alone with nothing to play and entertain himself with. His sibling only stopped by to get him water when he needed it and to get him cold medicine. Jordan lifted his head up from his pillow and looked around his room before he began to doze of then soon fell asleep.

Jordan awoke with a start, hearing some thing walking down his stairs. He glanced at his clock, and found that he'd slept for about three hours since it was now 10:00 am. He could hear whispering behind him and got startled, turning around quickly in his blanket cocoon. Jordan took in the sight before him. His younger siblings were walking towards him. A plate of breakfast in Isaac's hand as Cierra held a glass of milk with a fork and spoon as Bethany had a card.

"Hey Jords... How are you feeling?" Cierra asked him softy. "I'm feeling a bit better." Jordan told her, breaking into a horrible coughing fit right after he finished. "Sorry about your cold. We got you some food. We know you'll probably barf it up later, but at least you could enjoy it?" She said in question as she held it out towards her older brother.

Jordan looked up at the plate, which had 3 pieces of bacon, scrambled eggs, and one waffle on it. It looked extremely appetizing to the sick and young adult. Jordan's stomach growled in hunger, and he soon realized that he hadn't eaten anything since he'd gotten sick.

Even if he had, he would've thrown it up an hour or so later. Jordan bit his lip, trying to decide wether or not to take the offered food. He hesitantly took the plate if food, as well as the glass of milk, then set it on his bedside table.

"Thanks guys this means a lot to me." Jordan thanked his younger siblings. They walked up stairs and left as Jordan began to eat his breakfast.

As the day went on, Jordan found himself feeling significantly better. At about 6 in the evening , Jordan felt completely fine. He heard someone walk down the stairs. He looked behind him and saw Isaac standing there in a long sleeves shirt, long jeans, and a jacket.

"You feeling better?" He asked. Jordan smiled wildly before saying,"I feel so awesome!"
"Do you want to join me, Beth, and Cierra? We're gonna go play in the leafs." Jordan looked over to his closet, which had all of his clothes hanging. His eyes focused on his jacket as he Began walking towards it. "Sure, I'll be right out." He replied. Isaac smiled at him before leaving.

A half an hour later, all 4 siblings were outside playing in the leafs.

"Look out below!" Jordan yelled before he jumped into a giant pile of leaves they made. His younger siblings laughed at Jordan's action before they jumped in as well. In the end, all the siblings were buried in leafs and each of then laid on one another.

On the bottom was Jordan, who was followed by Isaac, Cierra, then Bethany on the top. The weather began to get unbearably cold, so the siblings decided to head inside and get some hot chocolate.
Once they were all settled down and watching a movie, Jordan turned towards his siblings and thanked them for what they did.
"Hey, guys I just wanted to say thank you for being there for me when I was sick." He said. Jordan's siblings turned to him and they all gave him wide smiles.
"No problem! You needed the help. We were willing to do that for you." Cierra answered him in a caring voice. Jordan sighed and pulled a blanket out from behind the couch, laid it on top if him and his siblings, and they cuddled against each other. They enjoyed the movie the rest if the night with no interruptions.
