Kirstie shrunk down into the large box she was sitting in.

I was extremely scared. I heard voices and I craned my neck to try and hear them.

"Yeah, I heard them on the fifth floor, I heard the girl he's been hanging out with..... Something about 'this is so exciting' or some crap like that,  come on."

"Oh my god!  It's Scott!" I whisper - shouted to Kirstie, and I frantically looked around for a place to hide.

Kirstie shook her head,  as the footsteps got closer,  and she climbed out of the box.

"Don't hide.  Just... Let's do what you said?" She smiled encouragingly, I couldn't say no to that smile.

I nodded and took a deep breath.  Scott and Avi had come into view, and they sneered menacingly at us as they walked closer.

"Hey dweeb!" Scott said loudly as he pushed me lightly. I stumbled a little but managed to stay on my feet.

Kirstie came from the side of the room to stand beside me.  I was surprised at how tall she was standing,  a look of determination plastered across her face.

"Don't push him!" she said crossly.

Scott looked at Avi and the two of them laughed quite a forced laughed,  I must say.

"Oh yeah?" Scott said mockingly to Kirstie.
"What are you gonna do about it?"

Avi jeered at Kirstie and Kirstie bowed her head down in shame.

Suddenly her head shot up and she looked at me with wide and determined eyes.

"He's my boyfriend!" Kirstie said almost excitedly.

And before I knew what was happening, we were kissing, our mouths moving in sync.

The sensation was amazing,  one that I had never felt before.

We pulled away, smiling into each other's eyes, almost completely forgetting our bullies were there until Scott gave a loud huff.

I turned to look at him. He looked almost hurt,  staring between the two of us as if we had done something horrible instead of something beautiful.

He frowned at me,  looking as if there were tears in his eyes, and stormed off,  down the stairs just as the bell rung.

Avi looked at us and gave us a dismissive wave.
"I don't know what his problem is,  but if you think that with that little stunt you pulled,  you're gonna get away with certain things then you thought wrong.  You two better watch your backs."

And with that he turned and walked away,  leaving Kirstie and I staring in his wake.

A N

I am super sorry that I haven't updated this book in like 2 weeks,  (no one likes it anyway) but I just got a dog and I have been really busy figuring out all the walking routines and playing with it and stuff.
But I'm BACK!
Sooo bit of a short chapter,  I know...  But still....
Enjoy!
