Chapter 13

Guess what day it is??? It's HALLOWEEN! A vampire day off from disguises. We can have red eyes and fangs for the whole day but we still can't hunt in front of people. I can drink blood in a cup in public and don't need to worry if people think I'm actually a monster.

But there is one secret about the other life.. There's vampires but there is one, only one wizard in this world. The wizard is named Alfred and he is the creator of vampires.

Vampires were created from a failed experiment. Alfred wanted to make a another creature that were nicer then humans, but something went wrong and here we are.

I walked outside with a disposable cup of blood. Wearing just a sweater, jeans and uggs I went for a walk uptown.

Eyes red and fangs in full display, I threw my cup out and walked into a store. I was looking at a nice dress that was purple and black when someone bumped into me.

"I'm so sorry!" a males voice said. I turned to see.. Niall?

"Niall? What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Oh hey Sam! Nice costume and I was going to get something for.... I honestly don't know, I'm just really bored." He smiled at me and I did back.

" Well how about you hang with me for the day?"

"Really?"

"Yeah I could use the company." We smiled at each other and started talking.

"So I see vampires are kind of popular this year. Been seeing them everywhere."

"They are common in London. Every year there is a fair amount of them on Halloween."

"Really? Me and the boys were going to go to a Halloween party tonight, and I was going to be monster of some sort but since vampires are popular I guess me and Harry will both be that."

"Harry's going to be a vampire?" My eyes widened.

"Yeah why?"

"What party are you guys going to?" I asked hurriedly.

"The one on Paris st. Why?"

"Don't go there! Actually don't go to any Halloween party! No parties I got to go." I ran out of the store and used my speed to go to Harry's house.

As I was about to walk up to Harry's house someone was going to my house. I turned my head and was a vamp with a letter. How could I forget? Every Halloween a new vampire rule is added to the law.

"Sam Williams?" The guy turned his head my way.

"Uh yeah?"

"This letter is from the community about a new law that has been passed through the council."

"Thank you. Just leave it at my door." he nodded and placed it on the ground and left. I then went to Harry's house.

I knocked on the door and Zayn answered.

"Hey sam! Why are you here?" he was half way done his makeup, leaving half of his face pitch white.

"Zayn you have to let me in." he furrowed his eye brows and let me in.

"Harry!" I called out to him from the bottom of the stairs.

He jogged down the stairs with a smile and hugged me.

"Hey baby." he released me and he was just about done with his vampire costume.

" Harry you guys can't go to the party. Or any party on Halloween for that matter." I told him.

"Why?" I can't tell him... but then I don't have a good reason him not to go. If I tell him they will all hate me and then try and kill me.

"Harry I can't tell you... but without telling you I don't have a reason."

"Why can't you tell me?"

"Because if I do then... you guys will hate me and try to kill me.."

" I would never do that to you."

"You will when you find out."

"Tell me please... I... I love you." He confessed then looked down.

"You love me?" He looked up at me and smiled.

"Yes I do, and I would never kill you."

"Harry, I love you too but this... this is.. I cant." Niall then walked through the door.

"When will you tell me?" he asked me.

"Now. I will now, but promise me you won't tell anyone. Not a soul or the boys. No one. Got it?"

"Yes."

"I don't care if you hate me and never talk to me ever again, just don't tell any one. If you never want to see me again that's fine, I will leave."

"Ok what is it." I brought him in his room up stairs and closed the door.

"I.. I'm a vampire." my head was down the whole time.

"Funny. You said it was all part of a play."

" I'm serious." I looked at his face." Watch my eyes." I knew they were red right now so I turned them brown then back to red. I starred at his face and his mouth was a bit open and he was frozen.

"I won't hurt you I promise." I reached out and touched his shoulder. He flinched.

"Your... your a.. m-m-m monster...." his eyes were now wide.

"I would never hurt you. If I wanted to, I already would have. Please."

"I... I don't know... "

"Fine I'll leave, just please don't tell anyone ." I got up and was about to walk out his bed room when he spoke up.

"No. don't leave."
