I could have pictured a lot of people coming out of the curtain, but Harry was not one of them. Out of the blue, Harry leans in to kiss me but I pull away before it could become more than a peck.
"Did you feel anything?!" He asks me. I don't reply because I'm still in shock. I don't know what to say. Of course I felt something. But I'm dating Louis...I think. "DID YOU!" I manage to struggle out a "I-I" but before I could finish, Harry storms out. I stand there just taking in the day. But as I do so my mind wonders back to the boy who will always catch me when I fall. We start the tour in London next week and I will never see him again.

Tonight's the first show in London. I haven't talked to Louis or Harry since that whole thing but my dad tells me he's still going to let me perform before the opening band. I didn't go to sound check last night- I was too worried.
I hear the fans cheering in the stadium and I'm finally ready. I've been rehearsing the songs on my own for a week. My hands are shaking as a walk on to the stage.
"Hey everybody! I'm Jen and I'm going to sing Before The Worst by The Script" I say into the microphone. I hear the beginning of the song playing. I take one last breath before I start singing.
"It's been a while since the two of us talked," I sang, still extremely nervous on stage.
It's been a while since Harry or Louis and I have talked.
"About a week since the day that you walked."
The line reminded me about when Harry kissed me then got mad and ran off about a week ago.
"Knowing things would never be the same with your empty heart and mine full of pain."
I still feel bad for not telling him my feelings, now he thinks I don't like him. Harry used to be one of my best friends but now everything's awkward.
"So explain to me, how it came to this. Take it back to the night we kissed. It was Dublin City on a Friday night."
Harry kissed me on Friday when we were Dublin.
"With vodkas and coke, I was Guinness all night..."
I finish the song and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Since I'm not the main opening act, I'm only singing one song. Some band called 5 Seconds of Summer is opening for the boys.
"Are you ready to hear some 5 Seconds of Summer?" I yell. The crowd screams in reply. The curtains fly back and I turn around to see the guy. The guy who will always catch me, sitting there at the drum set. I hear some guy introducing everyone to the crowd. He points to the drums.
"And that's Ashton" he says and suddenly it all comes into focus. I run off stage. I can't believe he's in the band opening for One Direction and I never knew. I don't want to deal with everyone asking why I ran off the stage so I go to the tour bus. I sit in the bus taking it all in and I slowly drift to sleep.
After feeling like I've slept for 10 minutes, I wake up to my dad shaking me.
"Jen, get up! We have to get to the hosipital! Someone in 5 Seconds of Summer was hosipitalized during the show."
