Mrs. Lewis arrived shortly after just as Adam opened his mouth to speak but shut it.

It was quiet the rest of the time, and when five o'clock came I was out of there as quick as possible. "Price!" I heard him yell my name; I looked back but just kept on walking.

As I turned around the corner and into the parking lot, someone took a hold of my arm and swung me back. I collided into a hard chest.

With my back still pressed against his chest and his grip on my arm, "What do you want Adam." I tried wiggling out of his grasp but he was too strong.

Adam leaned down to my ear and whispered, "You." He Let go of me and left without saying another word.

What just happened...?

I shrugged and headed over to my car, its small but it gets me to where I need to be. I arrived at home around six o'clock. As I walked into the house my mother stood there with her arms crossed over her chest and her blonde hair swept over to one side of her face falling down over her left shoulder.

"Where the hell have you been young lady? We were worried sick! You had better start explaining right this instant." I sighed and spoke.

"Mom I uh, I had detention." I looked down to my shoes which suddenly became the most interesting thing in this world.

"You what?! Why did you out of all people get detention, do you know what this will do to your reputation to get into a university? You might have just as well thrown away your future." Here we go again.

"Mom, I got detention because I was late for class, nothing more to it. I'm going upstairs don't bother cooking for me. I'm not hungry." I left my mom to keep on blabbering but I ignored it. I. Fell onto my bed when my phone vibrated, signalling that I had a text. It read:

'Park at 7. Be there. –A'

Adam. How did he get my number? Well if I didn't go I would be in my room all night long doing nothing, but if I went it would tick my mother off even more.

I'm going to risk it. I got up from my bed and headed over to my wardrobe. I decided on a pair of light wash skinny jeans and a Lilac hoodie. I put my hair up in a ponytail and took my phone from my bed. I also took a bit of money with me. So that I could get myself something to eat, I was just too upset with my mother to let her cook and have that satisfaction.

Luckily my bedroom had a fire escape with stairs on the side of the window so that was an easy escape. I arrived at the park at around ten to seven to see Adam sitting down on a bench across from me.

"I must say Price; I did not think that you would show up. I thought you 'hate' me." That signature smirk was plastered across his face, I couldn't help but smile.

"Oh trust me I do, but I had to get out of the house." He just shook his head and held his hand out for me to take; hesitantly I took it as he guided me. Over to the swings.

"Don't worry Price, I hate you too" He winked I just rolled my eyes.

"You know I have a name right, Parker." He looked over to me, smirked and said "I know."

I took one look at the swings, Let go of his hand and sprinted over to one of them, starting to rock the swing back and forth with my legs the way I used to when I was a kid.

"Aren't you coming?" I asked Adam. He shook his head and smiled then came over to the swing next to mine.

"Why did you ask me to come here?" I asked.

"Because"
