Chosen - A Rydel Lynch Fan Fiction

Chosen- Chapter 9

Rydel's Pov: 

I just got back from my all-day date with Alex, but when I got home everyone was sitting in the living room waiting for me. I don't know what it was for. I got the strangest feeling that it had something to do with Alex.

"Honey, take a seat." says my mom.

I take a seat on the couch and then look at Ross and Riker who seem pretty upset. 

"How was your day with Alex?" asked Ross.

"Pretty good, we baby-sitted, his little sister, Jacey, walked around, went to 'Get Shaved' and he dropped me off here." I said waiting for a response. 

"Oh." 

"Look, I want you stop dating Alex. I just don't think he is good for you." Riker says. 

"Who are you to tell me who I can and can't date. Last time I checked, you were my brother not my dad.'  I said starting to get frustrated. 

"Rydel, I'm just saying he seemed like bad news when he first walked through that door." Riker says pointing to the door. 

"Rydel, I have to tell you something that I have known for weeks now. I tried to tell you this morning, but you wasn't up. I came home ready to tell you, and thats when I found out that you were on you date with Alex." said Ross. 

"Ross, what is it that you have to tell me?" I asked starting to get worried. 

"Okay, a few weeks ago, before we left for our mini-tour, I went for a walk and my feet took me to the park. I didn't know why I was going there at the moment. There was a couple leaning againist a tree making out. It didn't really bother me until I realized who the guy was and---" 

"STOP!" I shouted interrupting him. " You two haven't liked Alex from day one and now we have been dating for two months, but now you wanna talk about this. This really hurts to find this out, espically if you've known for few weeks now. If you didn't like him at first, you guys should've spoken up because now this hurts a lot to know that my own brothers, family at that, don't even like my boyfriend, who I have been dating for more than two months now!"  I said with an angry tone in my voice.

"Honestly, how am I supposed to believe people who lie to me, even though it was probably for the best? I love you guys, just give me some time to think about this. I'm not saying that I believe you or that I don't. I wanna hear Alex's side of the story." I said beginning to calm down. 

I looked at both of them and ran up to my room. I slid my back down the door. All I could think of was the first day I met Alex and everyday from there on. Now it was time to choose... My family or my boyfriend...

A/N: We've finally reached the turning point of the story!!! I'm really excited! Since I'm on Thanksgiving break, I decided to update Chosen. I hope you guys are enjoying reading it as much as I am writing it. There are more chapters left, but I'm not sure on how many yet. I'm really glad to say that Chosen has almost gotten 400 readers!!!
