Rydel's Pov:

I woke up the next morning ready to confront Alex about what Ross told me last night. I didn't even bother saying good morning to anyone. That's how anxious I was to know if what Ross told me was true or not.

I walked down the stairs, grabbed the keys to Chubbs and then walked out the house. My phone started to virbrate, but I just ignored it. Finding out the truth meant more to me. I cranked up Chubbs and backed out of the driveway.

--------------

I finally made it to Alex's house. I hopped out of the car, and walked up to his front door. I hesitated before I knocked, but I did it. Alex opened the door with a smile on his face. My facial expression remained a frown, which I guess Alex knew because he gave me a confused look.

"Alex, can I talk to you?" I said about to break down.

" Sure, come in. What is this about?" he asked seeming more confused.

I walked into the house and took a seat at the dining table, so did Alex.

"I have to ask you something, and I need a honest answer." I began. "I was told something about you, that I am hoping isn't true, but...."

"Rydel, where is this going?"

"Look Alex, Ross saw you at the park kissing another girl. You don't have to lie about it, now I know what kind of guy you are." I said while water was forming in my eyes.

"What are you talking about, I never went to the park. I don't even like the park!"

I didn't say a word after that, I got up and started walking towards the door.

"Rydel, wait!"

I stopped walking, but my back was still turned towards Alex.

"How are you gonna believe someone who didin't even like me? He could've been lying."

Alex was right. Ross could've been lying. He didn't really like Alex, neither did Riker.

"Look at the bright side, at least you still have one person who loves you. Rydel, who do you choose me or the ones who made up a lie, just to break us up?"

All of a sudden, I became furious. I lost it, all control of myself. I turned around to Alex and looked at him with anger in my eyes.

"You know what Alex, if you love someone, you don't run off and cheat on them and then lie about it! I gave you a chance to be honest and you didn't do that! My family loves me, and I love them. Ross was right about you all along. I'm glad that he finally told me the truth, but I'm not glad on how it was told. Alex, I thought you were the one, I guess I was wrong. You were my first everything, my first kiss, and my first boyfriend. You threw that all away, when you kissed that girl." I said walking off.

Alex was left speechless. Good! I started heading for the door, I pulled the door open and looked back at Alex,

"Oh and Alex." I said.

"Yea?"

"I've chosen. My family means more to me than a guy who cheats on his girlfriend. Remember this, once a cheater, always a cheater. Good-Bye, Alex." I said. And with that I left, closing the door behind me, never looking back.
