Basically this story is all about one myth, a Greek myth to be specific. The myth of Medusa and Perseus.
Thanks to my dearest mate, @wickedandwildwind and IICAndyIIXD for the support about writing this type of stories.
The characters, names and places etc. Are works of imagination, and there might be places which are existent.
Though, I am not a very good writer. I just wanted to give it a try, and write a story circulated around a famous Greek myth.
So to give you information about the myth, you can search it on the internet. And read the story, because I do not want to write all of it and suddenly someone tells me I wrote something wrong.
But it was said that Medusa was cursed, and some say she was born ugly. Athena punished Medusa for saying that she's way beautiful than Athena.
Which made Athena punish her for her foolishness, by vanishing the beauty that she had. Her blond hair turned into snakes, and her beautiful skin was very rough when she touched it.
If someone looks at Medusa or she looks at someone he'll turn into a rock.
But my question is:
Were the Greek and Romanian sculptures victims of Medusa?
