Alone

Chapter 6: Almost..

As I said before I didn't. I stayed for dinner and went with him to his room, because like he said, "We have a project to do". I have to admit he's not a bad person, but I still don't trust him and I don't want to. But right now we're in his room sitting quietly, not saying a word we're just on our phones.

"I'm sorry" he just busted out saying.

"For what?" I asked.

"For bringing you into this bullshit with my mom, it's just she is in over her head. She's always under my neck. So I apologize if she was rude to you." He said looking at me in the eyes.

" It's ok, I know how you feel my mom is the same way. Always on my case, I just started to have a life" I said agreeing with him. And he was right she was, she always babied me and treated me like I was 2 and yet I'm 17 years old.

"Finally someone who understands" he said in relief.

"Yeah" As the conversation dimmed down."I better get going" I said getting up.

"Yeah, um we'll talk I guess" he said

"I think not, I only talk to people I trust, last time I checked I don't trust you" I said truthfully

Next thing you know he pulled me into him, he knew what he was doing to me. And I didn't like it at all then he looked me in the eyes saying "Your saying that now" he said holding my cheek. With that he let me go leaving me dumbstruck.

With that I left his room, with my belongings. Walking downstairs and out the door to my car going home. Just my luck, it was almost 10 and my curfew was 10:30. I guess I have to get some food and act like I was somewhere else and play it off.

I was right I did I got some take out and drinks and made it home just in time it was 10:30 by the time I made it to the door opening it.  And there was my mom. Waiting for me. And I told her I was going to be home late.

But she never listens to me..

"Where have you been?"

"At the dance studio working on a project, and I went to go get you some food. I called and texted you let you know" I said

"I didn't get it, not a call either so lie again" she said narrowing her eyes at me.

"I did I can show you" And with,that I pulled out my phone to show her the text and I did send it and I showed it to her.

With that,she was speechless she had nothing to say. She realized I wasn't lying this time I told the truth. And with that she let me go. And all she did was point, meaning to walk away. And I did I out her food on the counter and went to my room to take a shower and change clothes. And I went to sleep, with a smile on my face feeling satisfied that I finally best her at her own game.

That morning I woke up with a smile on my face. For the first time in a long time at that. I felt relieved that I didn't cry that night, I actually had a good night sleep, something I needed. With that I got up to get ready for school.

I took a shower and then I picked out my clothes. I picked out a superman half shirt and some red jeans with some red timberlands to match. And I grabbed my phone and my purse leaving the house to go to school.

I was actually in a good mood today.

Prodigy's Pov : Today I wasn't in a good mood today. My mom was irritating me. All she do is just make me mad. I really just want to have this day over with. I walk in the school with the anger in my eyes that told everyone to leave me alone. And I had to face Tatiana like this. Damn.

I walked to my locker getting what I needed for class and I went to my math class and say down not paying attention to who was in the room I didn't care. I just started listening to music and just wanted to think about everything while the music playing in my ears.

Tatiana's Pov: I walked into math class. Only to see Prodigy in the room and he looked angry and I'm leaving him alone. So I sat down next to him not saying a word. That is until I started listening to music.

Next thing you know I see him staring at me. Just staring,.keep in mind that we are the only ones in the room, class doesn't start for another 15 mins. Nothing to do besides nothing. Yet he was still staring at me.

"What?" I said irritated.

"Nothing, I just thought you would be singing by now" he said.

"Nope" I said

"Why are u in a good mood?" He asked

"How did you know?" "Because you look happy" he said.

"And why do you care?" I asked

"Because your usually ready to pop off" yeah I will. If you want me too"

"Go ahead, you can I have nothing else to lose. " he said looking out into space.

15 mins have passed and I didn't say anything to Prod at all. In fact it was to quiet in the room. And that's when students started walking in taking seats. Getting ready for class while I was getting my notebook and sketch book and a pencils and own out for class.

I was time for lunch when I had got my stuff that I needed for my time alone. And with that the the teacher dismissed us and we left. I walked in the cafeteria quietly going to the lunch line to get my snack. I don't really eat anymore. So I was done in a matter of minutes. And I left to the dance studio.

Prodigy's Pov: I was with my friends eating lunch. Well I was quiet because they had some girls with them and I didn't. So I finished and just as I was finna get .

"Where you finna go?" Ray asked

"The library" I said lying I actually wanted to see Tatiana again.

"Nigga you lying, but what ever happen with Tatiana?" He asked

"Nothing all we do is argue, but we have stuff to do for this school. " I said

"Nigga date her" Roc said

"Ewe, No that's nasty" I said

"You need someone" Prince said

"No I don't and y'all know why" I said getting up to leave again.

And they left me alone this time. They know what happened back in 8th grade and they should've reminded me. I don't go a say without thinking about her. If only she was here.

I made it to the studio to see Tatiana dancing away and she was killing it at that. So I wanted to show her something so I did. I walked in front of her and followed her every move and step but at the end we were body to body and I started to lean in so did she and the bell rung and students started to come in and that's when we both walked away acting like nothing ever happened. We just realized..

We almost kissed...
