Just Me!

What just happened!!

I get a call for Wendy it was from jail oh no.I smile as I ask to be excused and I take the call.Wendy is crying "I'm going to jail for life for selling drugs and for being a prostitute I need you to take care of my kids for me okay." I start to cry and say "we have so much room we will take care of them my dad will see what he can do and they will be able to see you once in a while." I hang up and walk back into the kitchen.

"Dad... Wendy is going to jail for life we need to take the kids in and take care of them"

" Damn it okay I will go to the court get everything done by today we will tell the kids right when you get home and it will be all okay" he says holding me tight.

"Thank you, dad, for everything" I give him a kiss and grab my lunch heading to school. I'm a little late so I rush to class. I am in second period and we are starting go to over last nights calculus homework. I stare at the board not paying attention wondering what the kids are going to  say I am getting really worried. I think I might be getting way to attached. I just sit back and relax. By the next time I look up we have only 5 minutes left. My next two class go by quick no drama with Jazzy just glares because Aiden is sitting next to me. I go to lunch looking around for the kids. I don't have 5th or 6th period so I just go and check up on the kids.

I pull up and I am shocked to see what's going on. The window is broken on the outside and there are tire tracks in grass. I get closer and the door is broken down. I see the younger kids sitting on the couch crying.

"What the hell happened!" I yell making the older kids come running downstairs

Justin and Amanda pull me aside,"Our mom came home with her new boyfriend and they trashed the place before she got arrested but I am pretty sure you already knew that." Justin said

"So now we are just packing up all of our things little did we know my mom hasn't paid the mortgage in over 2 months and we just cant stay here so we have to finish then well figure out what to do next." Amanda tells me looking at the ground.

"Well you guys are coming home with me and we will talk there for now just pack everything and ill pack mark and molly's stuff you guys pack Ambers stuff and all of the pictures." That was our game plan and we had everything packed that they need in five hours. We load everything in the car and I dropped it at my house and it took 4 trips. We went room by room and made sure everything was out and it was. The forth trip was just me bringing them to the house.

My dad wasn't home but he know the situation. We take everyone's stuff inside and I show them all the room we had we had one down stairs and four upstairs that was free. Justin decided that he would take the one downstairs. It has a desk, king size bed, flat screen tv, bathroom, and a walk in closet. He just smiles and we all help  take his stuff to his room.

"Justin we can go later and get you some paint and we will paint the room and make it manly." My dad says from behind us. We all turn and I go and hug my dad "Dad what are you doing here?"

"Oh I have a few days off before I have to fly to New York for a couple weeks because of this case." I just put a fake smile on my face .

"Maybe you can order us some Chinese food and then later we can redo all the kids rooms?"

"Sure I'll tell you when the food gets here" like that he walks to his office

We walk upstairs and Mark and Molly's rooms are conjoined by a bathroom. They have Twin size beds Marks was painted a green color and he had a walk in closet, flat screen, and a small desk. The only difference was that Molly's room was dark blue. Amber and Amanda's room was like Justin's.We have to redo everyone's room so we eat first and then head out. We ended up have 4 full charts and we soon were challenged with how everything and everyone was going to fit. It ended up working out for us we leave everything in the living room the weekend is coming up and we will finish  putting everything together till then it will stay there. We all make our way to our rooms and I finish my homework and text Aiden to see how he was doing I haven't talked to him in a few day. He just gives me short answers and tells me goodnight that was me sign to go to sleep.
