Aiden's POV

It was around 7, the kids and I had to get going. She looks peaceful, I slowly get out of bed hoping the weight shift doesn't wake her.

"Aiden where are you going at 7 in the morning?" Darcy asks

"We have to get home before their dad gets up." It was silent for 3 minutes, she was over thinking this whole thing. She wouldn't understand what it is like for us to live in that house. She lives in this big house with a house guest house and a huge yard. "Why don't you guys come to church with me and the kids it will be fun, I promise." Darcy said with a huge smile on her face.

"Fine, but I have to go get us clothes. Can I borrow you Rover?"

"Sure, um, just take the boys with you they are in need of some serious guy time." I salute her before I go wake the boys up, that earns me a laugh and an eye roll. We quickly get in the car and are on our way. Mark and Ryan were having their own conversation. We arrive but before we get out I give Ryan my phone."If anything happens call 911 and Darcy."Ryan knew what I meant, Mark was a little confused Their dad is abusive and it could get ugly so "just do as I say and hide if it get out of hand." I unlock the door and peek inside making sure we won't be ambushed it was quiet way to quiet. We start by going into Dalton's room where I pick her out her favorite sun dress. The boys are off in Ryan's room getting what he needs. That when I hear it the bang on the wall I just think it's the boys messing around but why would it be in my moms room. I run to her room and there she is half conscious blood all around her tied up clothes ripped. In a different part of the house you can hear Chuck screaming this isn't one of my kids. I grab the keys and run to the crying boys, He wasn't going to hurt them, not on my watch. He has them pinned to the wall, I run as fast as I can and shove him away from the kids. "Ryan take the keys, run to the car and lock it, call 911 and Darcy quick!!" They do as I say I fight him off till he stabs my leg and punches me one last time. My vision is getting blurry I see him trying to get out the door but he is hurting just as bad as I am. The last thing I can hear is sirens before I pass out, I feel someone touch me but I'm too weak to fight them. Lucky for me it was the paramedics and the last thing I remember saying is get to my mom before I am completely out for good.

Darcy's POV

I get a call and it's from the boys crying saying that Aiden is being attacked by their dad. I drop my phone and run to Amanda and wake her up.

"Amanda wake the hell up now I need you to watch the kids I have to get to Aiden's house something happened." she jumps up and is in a panic

"what happened!" she yells almost waking up the girls

"I don't know I just got a call from the boys but I have to go okay just watch them and I'll update you just make sure you feed them." I yell throwing on my sliders and grabbing my wallet. I can't find my keys. Shit I gave them to Aiden, I run into the house to grab the other keys. I take off in the direction of Aiden's house I get there 15 minutes breaking most of the laws. I jump out being blocked by this huge cop. "you can't be here"

"My little brother is in here now move the hell out my way." I knew I would regret those words right when they came out my mouth. "sir I am so so sorry"

"It's fine I understand your situation,but pull that ever again and you will regret it" I just walk around him and run to the boys. "Are you guys hurt? What happened?"

They didn't speak just looked lost an officer came and asked me if I was family and I told him i was Mark's sister."Well these boys are very smart and lucky, they found blankets and shoved themselves under the seat we got here before the man could break your window." I hug the officer "thank you so much but where is the mom and older boy?" he had a sad look on his face. "They were rushed to the hospital about 30 minutes ago."

"I can't leave my car here so can I have an officer drive my other car and drop it off at my house please."

"Sure just don't let anyone know we did it." I smile and mouth a thank you. Officer Parker picked up Mark while I picked up Ryan and carried them to the car. They were both in so much shock. I start the car and head back to my house. I call Amanda and tell her not to talk just listen. "Have the girls take baths and get them ready when I get there we can talk more but keep it quiet got it." I look in my mirror to see the boys sniffing "Yeah got it."

Officer Parker helps me take the boys in and I give him a hug thanking him for all he has done. He gets in the car with his partner and he is off. The girls are in Molly's room getting dressed so we take the boys up to the bathrooms and had them take showers we had to be careful just in case something happens so we were on the watch for the 10 minutes they were in there. When they get out they get dressed and just lay in the bed. The girls don't know so I pull Dalton aside and told her small details and told her that the boys are hurting and we need to help them. We head up to the hospital after a little lunch I stop by the front desk. "Hi Aiden Moore." I try not to sound upset for the kids.

"Are you family dear?" she looks up from her computer

"Yes I am his fiance and I have his brothers and sisters here."

"Okay well they can't stay too long they are under age but he is in room 560" I sign us in get the passes and hurry to the elevator. We get to the room and I open to see a sad looking Aiden-Carter.

"Hey" The kids run and jump in his bed.

"guys be careful he is in a lot of pain and we have to watch out for the iv." I say not to loud just loud of enough so they can hear me.

Dalton starts to smile as she whispers something into her brother's ear making me very nervous what she said. He laughs and says oh she did my oh my.

"Mrs.Moore would you like to come give your fiance a kiss." I light up like a tomato and turn around so he couldn't see me. "I only said that so I could get us all back here."

"mhmm sure Darcy" I turn around and our eyes meet till they are drawn to something else. The boys they must have had it even worse. Therapy is what these kids are going to need we don't speak just sit there. The doctor comes in with even worse news their mom was in a coma and they don't know when she'll wake up. It was a sad and stressful day. The kids were all staying at my house my dad came to pick them up a little while ago. I told Aiden I would stay with him for the night. I don't want him to be alone during all this we talk a little not much but it was something. He even cried saying he didn't know what he was going to do. I told him we would figure everything out it's just going to take a little time. I give him a small kiss and head to my chair to sleep. I can't change what happened but I sure as hell can make sure the future has the best outcome. Those were my last thoughts as I drift to sleep.
