Stop Doing That

"You gotta stop doing that" Jay said

"What?" Evie asked

"Saying things that make me wanna kiss you" Jay said stepping closer to her.

Evie's eyes widened and her cheeks became a deep shade of red. "What do you mean?" Evie stuttered as her brain went off in to a billion thoughts thinking stuff like does Jay really like me or he can't I'm just dreaming too much.

Jay smirked and said "you say awfully cute things."

"I do?" Evie questioned.

"Yeah, Like what you just said and the thing before that" Jay said thinking about other times he wanted to kiss her because of what she said.

Evie rose her eyebrow confused.

"Then again you are cute too" Jay said once again thinking about what she does and how he notices every change in her and still thinks it's beautiful.

Evie blushed again and thought maybe he does like me

Jay stepped closer to her with a smirk on his face.

Evie stared at Jay confused as he made his way closer to her. She started to slowly walk backwards. Evie gasped slightly when she felt her back hit the wall. "What are you doing, Jay" Evie asked cautiously.

"Oh, nothing" Jay said casually

"Really? Then why do you keep coming closer to me" Evie asked sweetly.

Jay stopped inches from her face. "No, I am not"

Evie smiled confused and said "ok then I'll just get back to studying." She tried to go away but Jay pushed her against the wall again which made the princess let out another quiet gasp.

He reached her he placed a hand on the side of her head.

Evie felt her cheeks heat up more as she embraced the feeling of Jay's hand on her cheek.

Jay slowly leaned in and his lips gently touched hers, but then he pulled away almost immediately.

Evie stood frozen and had a small pout on her lips that she didn't even try to make happen.

Jay whispered in her ear "I told you to stop"

Evie shivered slightly but gained her composer and said "I didn't realize it was a warning"

"Me either" Jay said "but I still told you to"

Evie said "well what if I don't really know how to... I guess"

Jay just smirked and began to lightly kiss her neck. While his interlocked with hers. When he felt Evie grasp his, the let go he was confused, but he kept kissing her neck.

Evie took a shaky breath and pulled Jay's head away from her neck. She gazed into his eyes as did to her. Then Evie leaned fast and kissed Jay.

He responded immediately kissing her back.

Evie smiled into the kiss and thought Jay kissed me back he has to like me.

When Evie pulled away she smiled and giggled thinking that Jay actually liked her.

"I love you" Jay said

Evie stood in silence for a moment thinking he loves me!? He really loves me! Then she stopped thinking about that and thought he's been talking nice about me all night. Now it is my turn.

"I love you too, my thief" Evie said .

"I told you to stop that" Jay said

Evie smirked wickedly and said "never"
