Kelssey's POV
"Dude, what are you looking for?" I looked at Lyra with a raised eyebrow. "Come on seriously have you not noticed that you have been looking everywhere like you lost something."
"Have I, I guess I haven't noticed." Okay so yes I knew what I was doing but I didn't know that it was so noticeable.
"Are you still scared after Saturday? You seemed fine on Sunday" Adam asked looking at me curiously. I shook my head. I must be going crazy there is no way possible that the boy from the diner was here. He doesn't even know where I live.
"Hellllllooooo, earth to Kelss." Lyra said waving her hand in front of my face. "Girl snap out of it." She walked to her locker without me, that was a first.
"Kelss" Adam said turning me around. "Are you sure your okay?" I simply nodded and reached up on my toes to give him a big hug. I rested my head on his shoulder breathing in his scent. When I looked up there he was just staring at me. Slate blue eye piercing my soul taking in my every emotion. I blinked hoping he wouldn't be there any longer but no luck. I pulled away from Adam grabbing his hand and pulling him down the hall. "Kelss?" I didn't answer just kept pulling him until we were at my class. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
I shook my head. "Look I don't know, I swear I keep seeing someone following me." I looked around again.
"Are you sure? What does the person look like?"
"Um, I don't know" shit how could I forget like that. I know I must sound bat shit crazy right now but I saw him. I looked up at Adam's worried face. "Um he had blue eyes, these cold stone like slate blue eyes like nothing I've ever seen before." I took a breath and looked around for those eyes again.
"Okay, and what else? Is he tall does he have blond hair, red hair and tattoos or piercing?"
What the fuck is this, is he a cop now? "I don't know Adam" I snapped. Shit. "Look I'm sorry, I have no idea what's going on with me just forget it okay."
He looked down at me for a minute before agreeing. I kissed him lightly on his lips and then walked into my class. I shook my head smiling as I went to take my seat.
"Hello" Just the sound of his velvety smooth voice sent tingles down my spine. It was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I turned to look at the owner of such a voice.
OMG.... I turned around to face the front of the room.
"So I guess the only thing I'm good for is a phone" he chuckled. Shit I was being rude wasn't I? I mean after all he was the only one that was nice to me in that town.
"What are you doing here?" I snapped. Okay maybe that wasn't exactly nice, but I'm always known to get straight to the point.
"Not happy to see me I see" he smiled brightly and my heart began to thump harder and louder. "Oh maybe you are" he said flashing that amazing smile.
"I I I just never expected to see you again" I stuttered.
"I never planned on seeing you again ether but my parents decided to move here and this is the school I'm going to so here I am." He rested back in his chair and put his hands behind his head.
"Oh....." Oh? Oh is that really all you can say Kelssey seriously. I looked away from mister dark and mysterious and handsome. Oh god Kelssey stop that, you have a boyfriend.
"Hey Kay Bear"
"Humm" I turned around to him. Oh, no no no no. Why did I answer?
'For that' my inner voice spoke.
Oh gosh yes, for that. For that smile. The tingles where back, running up and down my spine. God girl get a handle over those hormones. You have a boyfriend.
"I need a pen baby can I borrow one of yours?" He leaned forward gazing at me with those cool slate blue eyes through the most gorgeous black eyelashes. Oh no boy should possess that much sex appeal.
I took a pen out of my bag never breaking eye contact with him, never wanting to lose the feel of those eyes on me. Goose bumps popped up on my skin as our fingers touched sending electrical currents pulsing through my body. My breath caught as he leaned closer and his cool minty breath washed over my face. Oh yum.
"Thank you baby" he whispered. Sending sparks through my body. Oh god kiss me, kiss me my body called. My eyes started to flutter close as I anticipated the kiss. My heart speed up as the wonderful sensation intensified. Oh god this was it.....
