Ann's POV

Today is Christmas Eve. yah I know. not that big a deal. but today is also the day my step mom, Linn, goes shopping for gifts. I scribble down a quick list and hand it to her.
"Gift cards, money, iPad mini, Magcon tour tickets, money, money, money." she says out loud. "Ann all your stuff is so expensive!"
"My dad is the owner of a business that brings in 6 million dollars every two months. I think that my list is cheap in terms of expensiveness." I say giving her a fake grin before walking off. If only you knew how stupid she is.
I walk to my room and lay on my bed. "I'M TAKING A NAP!" I yell before snuggling into my fluffy comforter and drifting off into a dreamless sleep.

I wake up 2 hours later at 5:00. I stretch my arms and get up out if bed and walk downstairs. I hear my dad talking in his office so I go in there.
"Hey dad." I say when he gets off the phone.
He turns around and smiles."hey pumpkin!" he says "how'd your day been?" he asks.
"Good, good. I just took a two hour long nap and I feel super refreshed." we talk for about an hour until Linn gets home. "I'll be in my room!" I yell as I walk up the stairs.

At around eight I head back downstairs to our spacious living room and look out the wall of windows. the lake is frozen and snow lightly comes down making it look magical. Marcus and John come running down the stairs and come strait at me.
"Hey guys! want some hot chocolate?" I ask them when they stop.
"Yes please!" Marcus says.
"Thanks Annie!" John says enthusiastically. I take both their hands and we walk to the kitchen where my dad is making hot chocolate already.
"I heard you guys yelling about it so I decided to make it for you." my dad grins at us.
"Thanks dad!" us kids say. He hands us our mugs and sprays wiped cream on it and sprinkles mini marshmallows on it.
"Ann yours has coffee and hazelnut coffee creamer in it ju-"
I cut my dad off. "just the way I like it!" We laugh and talk until it's bedtime. in this small amount of time Linn comes in and joins our laughter.

I woke up to Marcus and John jumping on my bed at 6:30 in the morning. "Annie come sit by the tree with us!" John whispers.
"Please Ann! please!" Marcus begs. I laugh.
"Alright, alright. come on let's go get your blankets!" I say grabbing my knit blanket that my grandmother gave to me a couple years back before she died of cancer. I also put on the sweater she also made me before she died.
When I walk out of my room I see Marcus and John with their sweaters and blankets too. "you guys look so handsome!" I say smiling.
"And you look pretty Ann." Marcus says with a grin. "yup. very pretty Annie." John grins. we walk down stairs and sit on the big black leather sectional that sits in front of the tree. each boy cuddles into one of my sides and we just sit there and talk about their favorite toys.
At around 7:30 I hear a knock at door the so I unwrap myself from my sleeping brothers and answer it. "Uncle Ryan! Aunt Meghan! nice to see you!" I say. "aw hey Maggie!" she's my cousin.
"Hey brother! long time no see!" my dad says. "hey Meghan!" my parents greet my aunt and uncle and other guest while i sit and talk to my brothers some more.
"Present time!" Linn says/yells. We all unwrap presents one at a time which is a long, painful, process. But it's fun because I'm with my family.
Gifts from parents : 200 dollars in gift cards, 200 dollars cash, an iPad, and a 100 dollar enclave that says 'Forever' which is beautiful. From grandparents : 300 dollars. From Aunt and Uncle : 100 dollars in gift cards, an xbox 360 ayye. And that's it. I am very impressed except for I didn't get Magcon tickets.
At 3:00 everyone left. grandma took Marcus and John for the weekend so it was just dad Linn and I.
"Ann. there's one more gift for you.." Linn says all smiley and happy. weird...
"There is?" I ask looking under the tree. I look up at her confused.
"Here you go." my dad says Hibbing me a smile.
"That's actually two gifts." I say pointing at the two boxes.
"Yah yah. just open them would you?" my dad says with a laugh. I laugh too while I open the first box. I laugh some more when I see the hollister gift card and an iPhone 4S. I slowly open the second one and hope and pray for Magcon tickets...
"oh my god you actually got me Magcon tickets!! AND THEYRE VIP!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I scream. I jump up and down and hug my dad and Linn. "OMG I LOVE YOU GUYS AHH!!" I scream some more before I run into my room and change because now, my friends, it's time to go shopping.

This is the longest chapter I've ever written. my finger hurts like hell.
