Matt's POV ~ two days after Magcon

Tomorrow is Ann's last day and I'm going to surprise her with my own plane ticket to Michigan. The last two days we took the time to have breakfast every morning together and just getting to know each other.

And she really likes writing. like really likes it. she showed me a note book filled with writing shes done. and it was a huge note book too. sticky notes stuck out of every place they could.

tonight i was taking her to TGI Fridays for dinner.

i knock on her hotel door and wait.

"hey Matt." she greets me with a short hug. "I'm almost done getting ready." she says walking in. i follow her in and watch her as she carefully puts mascara on her eyes and putting chap stick on; then putting it in her pocket. she's wearing a pair of light blue denim jeans that are slightly flared at the ends with pre made rips in it, white keds, and a red fitted sweater with all the old marvel characters on it.

she pops her lips then turns around and looks at me. "I'm ready." she says looking at me with a smile.

"me too." i say getting up and linking our arms.

Ann's POV

Matt links our arms and we head out. Since it was a casual date i just wore jeans and a sweater, and Matt was wearing a pair of strait jeans, a gray shirt, and red vans. the restaurant isn't far so we decide to walk. He was taking me to TGI Fridays which is my favorite restaurant, like ever.

"Thanks for taking me out Matt" i say glancing at him

"You're very welcome." he says. i feel his eyes on me so i look into his deep brown eyes. I smiled up at him and he smiled down at me.

After about 13 minutes of walking we arrive at TGI Fridays. They were softly playing Best Day Of My Life by American Authors and it was nice being there with Matt

"Hey guys. I'll be your server tonight. Drinks?" our waiter asks us.

"I'll have an iced tea" i tell him politely.

"I'll have a Sprite." Matt says.

"I'll be right back with those okay?"

"Thank you." i say after him.

"So how was your day?" Matt asks.

"It was awesome actually. I just listened to music and packed. i like the simple things i guess." i laugh.

"I wish the simple things would come to me."

"The simple things don't come to you..."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you have to get the simple things and give them a meaning behind them. give them something that makes you want to do that more." I say. "listening to music makes simple things...fun." I add.

Matt is silent for a minute.

"You are amazing." he states right before our drinks come. I smile at him. I look down and add my sweetener to my iced tea.

Throughout the entire date we talk and laugh and just have fun.

"Thanks for taking me out Matthew. I had a lot much fun tonight."

"You're welcome. I also had fun." I was looking up at his soft features as he talked. he smiled. We stopped at a stop light and he pulled out a ticket to something.

"What's that?" I question.

"A plane ticket...to Michigan." he has the biggest grin on his face.

"Y-you're coming with me?!" I exclaim looking at the ticket. I throw my arms around his neck and he hugs me back tightly.

"I've had too little time with you and I wanted to spend more." He says. This boy was something special.
