Hey guys! So first.. Happy Thanksgiving! You guys are soo special, i decided to write another chapter. I had this week off, and, i have Monday off also from school! So i will most likely add another chapter or two. Depends on how Louie is doing. Louie is a dog i rescued from a girl at a park, he was getting beat at home ;c but hes amazing and sweet... and i will stop talking about me and get on with the story, enjoy<3333 !

The nurses had ended up kicking me out of the emergencey room, so i decided to head over to the police station. I have to sooner or later, why not sooner? It is a long walk from the hospital, so i thought a little. If i had killed.. if WE had killed what i was told Nicks grandfather, but my mother told Nick we killed her father.. i there a possible chance that Nick and my mother are.. NO. I quickly shake that thought out, not wanting to think about that. The more, and more closer i get to my destination, the more i am disgusted by my mother. Afterall, she DID try to kill my bestfriend, blame it on him, and say he tried to kill himself. I pushed through the door, and up to the desk.
"Im here for my mother, i am Vonia"
"Ahh, yes. We want to ask you some questions"
my phone rang. I looked at the caller I.D. Unknown Caller.
"Im so sorry, but i hav-"
Wait a minuet, maybe they can solve this. I open my mouth to tell them the circumstances i have been under, when my phone vibrates.
'Tell anyone, and you will be murdered. By the one you love, don't test me...'
Was on my screen, just, there. I answer the phone and walk out.
"Hello?"
"Much better attitude, Vonia"
I roll my eyes.
"I saw that"
I freeze. Did he seriously just say that? I look around, and i hear him laughing on the other line.
"Anywhoo.. here is your next task. When you go bqck in there, they wipp ask you yes or no questions. Everything they ask, deny, deny, deny! Do not give them any information aboit you or your darling mother"
"Ew, darling?"
I regret every word i said in that sentence. His tone changes.
"Oh, Vonia. Poor you. You know nothing about your mother huh? Like i said before, are you sure he was your dad?"
His last sentence sticks in my mind. Of course he was my dad, right? I walk back into the building, and a lady dressed in uniform is waiting for me. She escorts me to a hall, which seems like it never ends. We turn corners every few steps, like a maze. When we finally get there, she unlocks a room and steps inside. There is a steel table in the middle of the room, and two chairs, one empty. In the other sits my mother, looking insanely crazy, being held captive by two strong police gaurds. I immediatley turn around to walk out, when the door is shut, and even locked from the outside. Sighing, i turn around slowly, and sit down. The woman walks over.
"Vonia, we would like to ask a few questions"
i nod.
"Has your mother abused you?"
She glares at me, and i swallow, thinking hard about my answer. If i say yes, my mother will kill me, if i say no, im lieing. But what if-
"Vonia!?"
Her voice snaps into my thoughts. I shake my head and look at her.
"Uhm, well.."
I still dont know. She snaps her fingers, and points at me, looking off into the corner. Two, cold, strong hands grab my arm, hooking wires onto my arm, then my forehead.
"Now, answer truthfully Vonia, this is a lie detector. And you, do NOT want to lie to an officer."
She pauses,
"Is your mother abusing you"
I take a deep breath in.
"Yes"
She leans back and looks at my mother, squinting her eyes.
"You make me sick"
My mother suddenly leaps towards me, but is pulled back by the two men.
The woman does something unexpected, she slaps my mother.
"Next question"
She carrys on as if nothing just happened
"How long has she done this"
"Since she murdered-"
I freeze, no ones ever heard about this, except Nick.
She looks surprised and pissed at the same time.
"She murdered someone!? Who!"
i look at the floor
"Vonia, as much as your worthless, sick mother is glaring at you, you need ti answer me, and truthfully"
"She murdered my father."
I cant help but cry a little. The woman comes over, and hugs me, sharing the same pain as me.
"He deserved it!"
My mothers demonic voice cries out.

Nicks POV
As i sit in the hospital bed, all i can think about is Vonia. Her mother is dangerous, and she shouldn't be anywhere near her. The curtain covering me and my little area is pulled back. A doctor comes in with an x ray. He turns a light on, and places the picture on the screen. It shows my shoulder, and the other, is my abdomin area.
"Well, your shoulder seems pretty bad, but it will heal."
He pauses
"But, that is not what i am worried about. Lets take a look at this x ray"
He points at my ab, and there is a cloudy circle in the middle.
"Im not saying it is completely horrible, but i am indeed curious, and worried."
He takes a second look at the x ray,
"Well, the best i can do, is order another scan, just to clarify that it is not a mishap, or false conclusion"
He walks out leaving the x rays on the screen, light on. I look at it from the bed, which is quite a distance. J decuded to get a closer look at the x ray. I slowly get up, but the pain in my shoulder is so severe, i throw myself back onto the bed, wincing in pain. I mentally prepare myself to try again. I swing my feet over, still laying down.
One.
Two.
Three!
I stand up as fast as i can. Worst pain of my life. I uplug the I.V, and walk over to the monitor with the X rays. A cold chill runs down my spine as i get a closer look. The cloudy circle, or what at least that is what i had thought it was, was not just that.
It was a face.
