Sophie got up and handed us all a tissue. Sarah's hand was squeezing mine tighter than ever. My mother was the first to speak. "I-I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I think, I'm just happy you're happy but I do miss you being at home."
"I think what your mother is trying to say is, we miss you so very much but now we can see that you belong here with Sophie and Sarah too. Sarah, please treat our darling right. (Y/N), if she treats you so well than of course we want to get to know her. How about we all go for dinner next week? You know you're welcome too, Sophie." Soph grinned at my dad and replied: "You know I'd love to but I'll just let (Y/N) and Sarah go. You have a lot to talk about. I've met someone while being here too. I met him on the same night these two lovebirds met. He's called Jake and he's awesome. I promised I'd stay over at his tonight so see you all tomorrow!" She hugged us all goodbye and left. "Well, since it's almost midnight I think we need to head back to the hotel. It was a pleasure to meet you Sarah, we'll see you next week." My parents both hugged Sarah and my dad even gave me the 'nod'. The nod is basically my dad's way of saying it's all going to be okay and his way of showing his approval.
After they left, Sarah pulled me in to a long, loving hug. "I knew everything would be alright. Your parents are super supportive and seem like such kind people. I can't wait to see them again next week, (Y/N)." The last tear ran down my face slowly as I pulled her in for another hug. It was a happy tear. I was around all the people who mattered the most. I have the best friend, parents and girlfriend ever.
A/N: Sorry guys this was meant to upload last night and I thought it had until I got a notification saying it hadn't due to internet connection :/.
