Holly's POV

"Don't forget, at lunch there will be a special announcement so don't miss it!" My fanfiction teacher, Mrs. Ballade, said as we started heading out of the classroom.

After shipping I had fan art, then fanfiction writing. Now we were headed off to lunch. The first half of the day wasn't that bad.

I found Tiffany and Krystal in the mess of students, and ran over to them.

"Hey!"

"Hi." Tiffany said.

Krystal smiled. "How were your first three classes?"

"Great, how about you guys?" I asked.

"Good." Krystal said.

"Great!" Tiffany replied.

"So what do you think that special announcement they were rambling on about is?" I said as we entered the cafeteria.

"I dunno." Tiffany said.

"Hopefully something fun." Krystal laughed.

We grabbed our lunches and met at the table we'd claimed as ours.
Everyone we sat with yesterday came over, and some people say at the end of the table, away from us. We spotted a teacher walking over to a microphone stand and everyone hushed.

"Hello, first year!" She said. "As you've probably heard about, there is a special surprise we have for the whole school. Are you ready?"

"Yes!" Everyone cried.

"Well, if you didn't know, there is a academic boarding school for boys about three minutes away."

"Ohh." A few girls cheered.

The teacher smiled. "There will be a Halloween dance at there school and they have kindly invited us to join them. It is a costume party, so don't be scared to dress up! They take trips to the shopping center like we do, so if you want to meet some of them, the bus goes daily after school."

We turned and started chatting.

"What are you going to wear?" Eliza asked.

"I wonder if they look decent..." Tiffany dazed off.

"A all boys school has to be dirty." Jane shuddered.

"I think it'll be fun." I said.

"M-me too, I guess." Lauren agreed.

"Im going to the shopping center after the school day ends, I have to get first pick on the boys." Tiffany stated. "Anyone wanna come with me?"

"Sure.." I agreed. I wanted to get some things to decorate my dorm.

*time skip to after school*
"So the bus comes like every half hour?" I asked Tiffany.

Tiffany and I were headed to the bus stop. You have to walk down a path from the main building to the road. There was a crosswalk and a bus stop.

"Yeah. Ones supposed to come at three-thirty, so I think we'll be just on time." She answered, checking her phone for the time.

"So why are you going again?" I laughed.

"I wanna see how the boys are. Hopefully at least some look better then the donut I ate earlier."

I giggled.

"So why are you going, missy?" She turned to question me.

"You kinda invited me, but I wanna get some stuff for my dorm."

"Good luck putting up anything that isn't approved by your fashionista friend."

"Kendal? She's not really my friend. And, your right." I sighed. "But I need some new clothes too."

"Sure." Tiffany said.

"And what's that mean?" I glared at her.

"Your doing just what I am." She snorted. "Looking for a date to that Halloween dance."

I made a shocked 'O'face. "I am not!"

"Keep telling yourself that."

"I'm not, ok?"

"Whatever." She shrugged.

"Ugh."

"Am I too annoying for you?"

"Not as much as Kendal."

"An, finally something we agree on!" Tiffany smiled.

"Can I call you Tiff?" I asked.

"sure." Tiff replied.

"Cool."

We came out to the bus stop as a bus rolled up.

"Not a moment to soon!" Tiff said as we hopped on.

There were a few other people on, and a couple of our classmates had gotten on with us.

"What's your type?" Tiff asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Boys, duh."

"I'm not some man-obsessed lady." I laughed.

"Sure. Well?"

"I don't know, a good personality."

"They all say that." Tiff looked out the window.

"Are you actually buying anything?" I asked.

"No, I'm stealing some stuff though."

I gasped. "What?!"

"Well, hopefully, anyways. Do you wanna know what?" She leaned in closer to me.

"What?" I looked at her, horrified.

She whispered in my ear, "Some boys hearts."

I glared at her. "You little-"

I was cut off by Tiff's laugh. "The look on your face! Priceless! How could you fall for that?"

I folded my arms on my chest and slouched down in our seat.

The bus came to another stop, and a few boys that looked about our age got on.

"Who's that?" Tiff asked, nudging me and pointing. "Move to the seat next to me, maybe one of them will sit with me." She shoved my out of the seat and into the one across from us.

I sat down and looked out the window.

"Is anyone sitting here?" I heard a smooth voice ask, probably to Tiffany, the man-handler.

I continued staring out the window at nothing in particular.

"Excuse me?" Someone tapped my shoulder. "Can I sit here?" He repeated.

I turned around to see a boy with short, messy blonde hair.

"I- um."

Tiffany stared at me from behind the boy. "Say yes! He's hot!" She mouthed.

"N-no." I stuttered.

She walked her face against her palm.

"I mean, no, no ones sitting here." I stuttered.

"Can I sit?"

"Yes! Yes! Say yes!" Tiff silently s screamed.

"Sure." He sat down beside me. Sure? Smooth, Holly.
