Holly's POV

The boy sat next to me. Tiff wiggled her eyebrows from behind him.

"Does his cologne smell good? I swear, if his eyes are blue- are they? He looks so hot oh my god I ship it!" I turned away from Tiff and stared at his face.

As a matter of fact, he had soft, but sharp at the same time, deep green eyes. He looked about my age, and had a pretty sharp jawline.

"Do you... need something?"

I jumped when he spoke, realizing I'd been staring. "I-um- no, no."

"Ok." He turned back to his phone.

I glanced over to look at his Screen. He was texting someone named "Staci ❤️."

Who's this '.Staci' chick? Shut the hell up, Holly. He doesn't even know your name.

But I couldn't help reading a few of the texts.

"Hey." He'd texted.

"Hi, I miss you already."

"Me too." He'd replied.

"I can't wait until I can come and visit you!"

"I can't either. We'll have such a good time. The campus is pretty cool."

That was the most recent text he'd sent.

"Oh, I went to your moms house today. She says she misses you. Oh, also, she loves you."

"That didn't take long 😂." He just typed.

This Staci girl seems to know him pretty well, if she knows his mom. I sighed. Such a cute boy, of course he'd have a girl.

"Something wrong?" He shut his phone off and cleared his throat.

"Oh, sorry." I coughed. "So, what's your name?" I looked down to see my hands shaking. Damnit, Holly.

"My name is Raymon." He smiled faintly.

"I'm Holly, but my friends call me- ... Holly." I trailed off. "I swear to god I'm not this awkward." I mumbled.

Raymon gave me a strange look. "What?"

"Nothing!" Did I really say that awkward of a thing out loud?

The bus stopped and he hurried off. Tiff and I got off and she turned to me. "What was that?" She hissed.

"What?"

"Do you even know what a boy is?" She was making some furious hand motions.

"Yeah."

"Then, do you have a speech disorder?"

"No, I don't know what your talking about."

"I think you do. You obviously are crushing on him." She laughed.

"C'mon, let's go shop."

We headed into the shopping center to see what we could find.

"I wonder if there is a Pink here?" Tiff looked around.

"I don't know." I mused.

Tiff led me to the food court. She handed me ten bucks. "Get us something, anything, im starving."

"We had a snack before we left."

"Get food." She growled.

I got us two six-inch subway sandwiches. I didn't know what she likes, so I got what I usually get. Mayo, American cheese, Lettuce, turkey, and tomato.

"How did you know?" She smiled, taking a huge bite.

"I dunno." I shrugged.

We finished eating fairly quickly, then went to track down some good stores.

Tiffany took interest in tank tops and crop tops, while I bought some loose, cute shirts. We got some short- shorts and headed out.

Do you wanna head back now?" I asked.

"Sure." This time we sat together for the whole ride, bags sitting uncomfortably on our laps. When the bus stopped we hurried back up to our dorms.

Rowan seemed to be watching something, it looked like death. Lauren jumped up to see me. "Hey!"

"Hi." I sighed, putting my bags on my bed.

"What's wrong?" Lauren's gray eyes studied me

"Some kid From the other school."

"Oohh. I see where this is going. You gonna ask him out to the dance?"

"No! No... I'm awkward."

Rowan snorted in disgust from her corner of doom, black hoodie hiding nearly all of her from sight.

I rolled my eyes. "Where Kendal?"

"H-hanging out with her 'girlfriends'." Lauren replied.

"I'm gonna watch some YouTube now. Bye- bye, world." I hopped onto the bed, headphones and phone in hand, and opened up YouTube. H had uploaded a video. 'Cube smp season 3.' I clicked on it and heard a familiar, friendly voice saying, "Hey guys, welcome back to the cube sim-pa!" He laughed. H's laugh is so cute, it makes me smile.

"What are you watching over there?" Lauren asked.

"YouTube."

"No dip." She said flatly.

I gave her a wink and turned back to the screen. I got lost in videos until Lauren poked me to tell me it was five-thirty, and she was heading down to dinner.

"Ok, I'm coming." I heaved myself out of bed and quickly brushed my hair. We headed downstairs.

Boy, did it smell delicious.

Me and Lauren ran into Kendal. She was surrounded by her 'girlfriends.'

"Hi." I said, trying to be friendly.

She wrinkled her nose in disgust and turned away.

"Good to see you too!" I called after her as we headed off. I grabbed a cheeseburger and smothered it in ketchup. Looking around, I spotted Tiffany and them. I headed over and sat down.

Tiff raised her eyebrows at me. "A cheeseburger? Bad girl, I thought you were trying to get body goals for that boy Raymon."

"One, why would I try to get a summer body when it's nearly fall? Two, I'm not trying to impress anyone."

"Hah, sure." She giggled.

Eliza and Krystal sat down next to us. "Hey." I smiled.

"Suh." Krystal raised a peace sign, mimicking some picture.

"Hi." Eliza took a bite out of her Mac and cheese.

I turn to my cheeseburger. Should I be trying to impress him? I took a bite of the Burger. No.
