Sam's Pov:
I was walking down the sidewalk on my way to school by myself as usual. I didn't really have too many friends because I kept moving to different towns all the time, but hopefully this time I can stay. "Hey Sam," J exclaimed happily while running over to me. J was one of my friends when I was younger before I started moving. "Oh hi J what's up?" I asked him, "Nothin' much did you hear that we are getting a new student today?" He told me. A new student? We don't really get many new kids around here I wonder who it is.

~Time skip~

I ran all the way to class with J because as soon as we got into the school the bell rang. When we arrived Mrs. Okami told us not to be late again, but I wasn't really paying much attention. I was too busy staring at a raven-black haired boy with red and blue checkered headphones who was sitting in the desk right next to mine. "Sam you can take your seat now." Mrs. Okami told me. "Oh right, sorry Mrs. Okami." I apologized quickly and walked to my desk by the window, but before I could sit down DomRao, the school bully pulled my seat away and I ended up on the floor. "Ow what the hell Dom!" I yelled at him. He just laughed at me while the teacher told him to go to the office. I got up and sat down in my seat, then I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I looked over and saw that boy was now staring at me "Are you ok??" He asked me. "Y-yeah I'm fine." I studdered and looked away while blushing badly. Why though?? I don't like this boy. Do I???

Taurtis's Pov:
I asked the boy next to me if he was alright, but he just said that he was fine and quickly looked away from me. "Sorry about that class, now we have a new student. Why don't you come up and introduce yourself." Okami said while looking at me. Oh no, this isn't good. I hate it when teachers ask people to introduce themselves. Slowly I got up and walked to the front of the class and started introducing myself." Hello, My names Taurtis I like video games, music, and manga." I told everyone afterwards almost immediately I heard, "NERD!!!!" I didn't exactly know who said that, but what I did know is that it hurt and I ran out of the room crying.

Sam's Pov:
Taurtis just ran out of the class crying. I felt so bad for him. I mean, I know what it's like to be the new kid.

~Flashback~
" H-hi my names Samgladiator I l-like anime and reading manga I uhh a-also have a teddy bear named Mr. Snugglemuffins he's my only friend..." Sam squeaked while hugging snugglemuffins."Wow, what a baby!!!" Dom laughed causing everyone to start laughing at me as I ran away crying.
~Flashback Over~

I knew that I couldn't just let him run away, so I got up and chased after him. As I was walking by an empty classroom I heard what sounded like crying sounds??? "H-hello??" I asked as I walked in. Almost immediately I saw him. He was curled up into a tight ball, crying his heart out. "L-leave me alone!" He cried causing me to jump back a little being startled by how broken his voice sounded. "It's okay....I'm not gonna make fun of you," I told him hoping to cheer him up. He then looked up at me slightly shocked by what I said. "Your n-not?" He asked me, cautiously. "No I actually want to be friends with you," I responded knowing that I had to say something nice to him even though I wasn't exactly sure on how I felt about him. He then slowly got up and walked over to me and hugged me tightly. I was so shocked and ended up blushing like crazy "We are gonna be best friends!" He said happily, but did I really want to be just best friends?
