"Alright Julie come on"mason yells from downstairs.
Mason invited me to Luke's party. I'm guessing Luke's a party person.
"Coming"i yell putting on some red pumps.
I walk downstairs and see mason pacing pacing back and forth. He looks up and eyes me up and and down slowly.
"Hey eyes up here buddy"I wave my hand in front of his face.
He smirks and takes my hand in his.
He leans down near my ear.
"Must I say you do look unbelievably beautiful tonight"he whispers sending chills down my spine.
I felt my cheeks heat up. He leads me to his car and opens the door for me.
"Who knew you could be a gentleman"I tease.
"Please its just one thing little thing"he says shutting the door.
He gets in and starts the car.
He gives me a smirk and pulls out.
When we get to Luke's house I already hear music going.
I get out and mason hooks our arms together. He leads me inside where the music was blaring.
"Can I go talk to Luke and Carter?"he asks unhooking our arms.
"Yeah go have fun".
"You'll be okay?"
"Go mason I'll be fine"I shoo him off.
He walks away and I go into the kitchen.
I take a beer out of the fridge and jump up on the counter and open it up.
I take a sip and put it down.
"Hey there. What's a pretty little thing doing here all alone"a guy says jumping up on the counter next to me.
He had messy blonde hair and big hazel eyes.
"Oh I'm not alone I'm here with my eh friend"I say taking another sip of the beer.
"Oh where are they then?"
"He's talking to some friends of his".
He nods taking in what I just said.
"I'm Sean by the way".
"Julie".
"So you want another beer you look like you finished that one"he says handing me another one.
I take it and guzzle it down.
"Thanks"I chirp.
"Whoa steady there princess. Your friend might not want you drunk".
"No he's totally cool with it"I say grabbing another beer.
He just shrugs and takes another beer for himself.
After about 7 beers I'm already feeling dizzy.
I hop off the counter and start to walk into the living room to find mason.
I felt someone grab my wrist.
I turn to see Sean smirking.
"Hold up there princess I'm not done with you yet"he says pulling me closer to him.
I try to break free but his grip only tightens.
"Let me go"I yell over the music.
He only laughs and slaps my ass.
I slap him and he lets go of me and holds his cheek.
I turn and start to walk away but he only grabs my waist.
"Let her go now"I hear a familiar voice say.
I turn to see mason balling up his fists.
"Or what?"Sean challenges.
Mason gives him a puzzled look but soon replaces it with a scowl.
"I'll kick your ass".
Sean only chuckles and tightens his grip on me.
"Please I'll beat your ass and plus we weren't finish talking"he states.
"She's with me so let her go" mason yells.
Sean lets me go and takes a step towards mason.
He punches mason and mason falls on the ground with a loud thud.
I run over to him and touch his face gently. He groans out in pain.
Hearing him like this hurts me.
I stand up and turn to a smirking Sean.
I walk over to him and kick him where the sun doesn't shine.
"You are such a idiot"I spat.
He gets down on his knees and groans out in pain.
I walk back over to mason and try to help him up.
I feel someone jerk my shoulder.
I turn to face a angry looking Sean.
He slaps me and I hold my left cheek.
Mason stands up fast and tries to punch him but Luke stops him.
"Dude its okay I'll handle this"Luke says calmly.
He turns to Sean.
"Leave now"he yells at Sean.
Sean starts to walk out but stops at the door.
"This isn't over"he hisses slamming the door.
Mason helps me up and leads me to the car. I get in and he gets in after me.
He drives off fast. The whole car ride was silent.
When we get home mason helps me inside and into my room.
I sit down and he sits down next to me.
He examines my cheek and gives me a sad look.
"This is all my fault I shouldn't have brought you to that party"he says softly.
"Its not your fault its mine. I shouldn't have talked to him in the first place".
He nods slowly.
"Stay in here tonight. Please"I say softly.
"Okay".
I lay down and he lays down next to me. He pulls the covers over us and pulls me closer to him.
I snuggle up to him and close my eyes.
I have to admit I feel safer in his arms.
I clear the thoughts out of my head and let sleep take over.
