Chapter 26

I sit down at the kitchen table and went through missed calls and messages from everybody.

Why can't they leave me alone in peace for a few days. I groan when I see carter calling me.

Should I answer it? I mean its been a few days so yeah I should.

"Hello"I sigh into the phone.

"H-hello Julie is that you baby?"

"Yes you nitwit its me"I spat.

"I've missed you baby where are you?"he asks.

"At my dads you can all come and get me now". I hear Whitney cheer.

I guess I'm on speaker.

"Alright we'll be there in a bit. See you soon babe." I end the call and shuffle to my feet.

I find my combat boots and put them on. I hope they all won't be mad at me.

Just then my father come into the kitchen smiling wide. I give him a confused look.

"Mason just called. Told me you finally want to come back"he says shuffling around with some papers.

I nod. Just then I hear the doorbell. I run to go get it.

I open it and there stood the gang. My heart flutters when I see mason.

He was smiling wide. Carter pulls me into a hug.

I chuckle and hug him back.
I pull away and hug Whitney and Luke next.

"Girl I missed you. Don't ever do that again"she scolds like a mother would do to a child.

"Yes ma'am"I solute. She giggles and then I hug Austin, Justin, and
Grayson next.

Then finally I hug mason. He seemed to hug me tighter.

"Julie I've missed you like hell. Please don't leave again"he whispers in my ear.

"I've missed you to and I have to tell you something." Mason pulls away and gives me a confused look.

I look at carter. He was nodding for me to say it. He knew I loved mason.

I turn back to mason.

"I love you mason"I whisper.

Mason forms a huge smile on his face.

"I love you to Julie."

I smile and wrap my arms around his neck. He brings his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

I look up into his eyes then his lips.

He smirks and crashes his lips to mine.

This kiss felt right. This kiss was tender and not to hard.

He licks my bottom lip for entrance which I gladly open.

My head was spinning and before I knew it he pulled away.

"That was amazing"he whispers leaning his forehead on mine.

"Yep"I whisper back.

"So what does this make us now?"he gestures between us.

"I guess boyfriend and girlfriend"I chuckle.

He grins and takes his hand in mine.

We turn and start walking towards the car. I notice carter smiling.

"Julie he makes you more happy than I could ever make you. Its okay I'll be alright"he assures me.
I nod and get into the car beside mason. He pulls me into his chest. I cuddle closer to his chest and breathe in his scent.

He smelled like mints. Which is now my new favorite smell.

Mason leans down and kisses my forehead.

I giggle a little. I hear him chuckle.

"Julie stop giggling its so unlike you"he teases.

I playfully slap his chest.

"Excuse me but you love me so get over it"I tease.

"Sadly I do."

I roll my eyes and lay my head on his shoulder.

I hear the rest of everybody get into the car.

"So who's hungry?"Justin asks playing on his phone.

"Pizza"Grayson and carter yell at the same time.

I chuckle and shake my head.I'm glad to be back. I've missed these crazy people.
