WINGS Short Film #6, MAMA- Theory and Hidden Secrets

Theory- J-Hope is stuck in an asylum and needs to get out. Like Jimin, he has to be freed, but the drugs (delusions, thoughts, his faults) are keeping him back.

Theme- Recognize the people and the help they are trying to give you, use that to free yourself.

[0:00] Right off the bat we are hit with another teaser for WINGS. [Dammit BigHit, it's the weekend. When will you let us get a life? We have homework, y'know.] MAMA is pretty famous in the Kpop industry right? Correct. It's the name for EXO's debut song and is also the name of a well known award show. Remember BTS' collab with Block-B in the 2014 MAMA? The one where J-Hope danced like a beast and Jimin gave his upper body ALL the glory? Yeah... we don't have any idea how it relates, but it's epic. Anyways the real deal is with EXO's debut song MAMA. In the chorus these lyrics were sung: "아픈 현실에 다시 눈물이 흘러 바꿀 수 있다고 바꾸면 된다고 말해요 마마. 마마." Which translates to "Tearing up to the reality the hurts. Say MAMA if you can change it, say MAMA." Keywords: Tearing, Reality, Hurts, MAMA, Change. MAMA in korean means 'your majesty' more towards the queen than the king. [A king would be 'jeoa'] Phoenix is a Korean symbol used for queens. In our theory for Jungkook's teaser we mentioned that the shadow of Jungkook could possibly be a Phoenix.

[0:08] Damn, RapMon. Back at it again with the pleasant reading. "With a face that resembled her son's, timeless, ageless, and full of inner strength, the beautiful woman smiled with dignity. Her gaze was fulfillment, her greeting a homecoming. Silently I stretched my hands out to her." [From Herman Hesse's novel Demian, of course.] Let's go back to the word MAMA for this. Mama to most people also means mother. In BTS, Jin is seen as the eomma of the group, with him being the one who is the oldest, who cooks and takes care of them. Jin has a pretty big role in our theory and we will elaborate more on it later on. Specifically our theory of Jin being Eva. In the 'LIE' teaser there was a scene where Jimin stretched his hand out to an empty bed which we think belonged to J-Hope.

[0:36] J-Hope laying on the ground in an empty white room. Similar to Jimin's teaser as these two are the only two bright teasers while the others are quite dark. J-Hope is probably also located in an asylum. We hear footsteps and a little peeping hole in the door opens. Next, we see someone writing their observation of J-Hope's condition. It consists of his basic info such as height, weight etc. But it also includes includes his mental health results. "Mood: Anxious... irritable. Thought Process: Illogical, retarded. Delusion/Hallucination (0). Orientation: time/ place person. (WNL/WNL/WNL). Assessment > Munchausen Syndrome. Plan > Pluuba." (For y'all that don't know, WNL stands for 'with normal limits') So it turns out that poor Hobi has Munchausen Syndrome. People with this syndrome act as though they are mentally or physically sick even though they are not. Could J-Hope be acting acting just to be closer to Jimin? According to WebMD, people with this syndrome have a very high chance of suffering from substance abuse and suicide. Now, the crazy part. [As if all our theories aren't crazy already.] Who's hands are they? In in the Dope video, Jin played the role of a doctor. Could he be a psychologist trying to heal him? Does this mean that he is also in charge of Jimin's mental healing? Is Jin is helping Jimin and J-Hope, if he helping everyone else as well? Earlier on we mentioned Jin being THE eomma. This supports our theory of Jin being Eva.

[0:56] J-Hope woke up just seconds ago and now pills are pouring in. In the psychologist's assessment of J-Hope, it said: "Plan> Pluuba." We tried doing some research on it but nothing related to the word showed up. That's why we are a doubtful if 'Pluuba' may be the drug J-Hope either overdosed on, or is ingesting as medication.

[1:06] As soon as Hobi swallows the pill and the pill falls back into the wine glass [the one is Jimin's teaser, expect in Jimin's, the pill flies out rather than dropping in], a picture of J-Hope's eye appears, which displays the setting of where V was found by the police in his teaser, but this time without V blocking the wall. In the middle is a picture of the demon, Abraxas. There are also letter spread out on the wall. W.I.A stands for 'wounded in action'. This could mean that none of the members actually died (with the exception of Jin) ,but have been wounded mentally or physically by Jin's actions. There is also sun and the moon located at the top on the wall, which could symbolize two realms.
