grace came over a few hours after dani was giving me a tour of the place. it had 3 bedrooms; my room, dani's room, and an extra room that we could turn into a guest bedroom, an office, whatever we wanted basically. there was also 2 bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. plus the basic rooms; kitchen, living room, small dining room, etc. but my favorite part was the big ass pool we had in our backyard. i don't know how my parents and dani found this place, but they hit a jackpot.
grace and i exchanged our hugs, tears, and goodbyes while she handed me my bags with all of my belongings.
"wait, let me take a picture of you both!" she said, gesturing for my phone. i handed it to her, and she snapped a photo of dani and i in the kitchen. grace handed me my phone afterwards before leaving and we both stared at it. "definitely going on instagram." dani said while eating her yogurt.
