Halloween 2005

"Trick or treat!" Came the voices from the group of children.

Little Vikk was stuck at the back of his "friends". Over the past few years, he went trick-or-treating with them but he never gets a chance to get a treat before the people in the homes slam the door. He was that tiny.

'Is this a trick upon me that I don't get any sweets because of my height?' Vikk sadly thought to himself every year after trick-or-treating.

Then when he was old enough to use his powers, he had a plan. 

His mum gave him photo-umbrakinesis before she left to make crimes in Europe. He was able to either control the lights and even the sun and moon. 

On that upcoming Halloween, he decided to stay at his house just to make it a tiny bit creepier. Vikk was dressed in a skeleton costume. Simple, but cool. NO one knew of his plans except his parents. His plan this year was to flicker all the lights in the houses in his neighbourhood and make EVERYONE scared. He hoped it worked and no one will know. 

If only his friends actually cared about him every Halloween he wouldn't be doing this... 

But he had to.

As Vikk and his Dad continued passing sweets to his neighbours, he kept dreading for his fellow group to arrive.  Sooner or later they arrived late at night. They didn't even know Vikk was at his home. That's how much they cared for him: they didn't care at all.

Vikk got butterflies in his stomach. He was clearly nervous about how this was gonna go. But he knew it was his only way for his fellow "friends" to notice him after all these years. 

"Vikram! Your "friends" are here!" His dad yelled from the door.

Vikk rushed down from his room, putting on his skeleton mask while doing so. 

"Trick or treat!" They all screamed happily in their small costumes.

'Little do they know...' Vikk thought cruelly to himself. 'There will be more tricks this year after I lost all those treats because of you guys.'

At that he was at the door next to his Dad. They didn't even notice him.

As his dad "passed out" the sweets, Vikk got to work.

'If this doesn't work, I'm gonna look like a stupid rat.' He thought to himself again.

Vikk went into a part of the house where the other children couldn't see from their perspective at the door. He closed his eyes... 

The lights in his home started flickering. All the kids at his door started screaming and ran away to another house. 

"That's what you get for leaving me out all the time." Vikk whispered and chuckled to himself.

He then looked outside before his father closed the door.

All the lights in every house were flickering.

"Revenge is so sweet."

Yet again another shit and short chapter...

I only did a Halloween themed chapter just because it's Halloween next week.
