Zayn was sitting on his bed with his laptop on his lap. After his grandparents left, he decided on doing some research on the whole breaking a family tradition thing. He did asked his grandparents about it, he questioned what will happen if he just took the ring off and ignored the whole situation. He asked what would happen if he found someone else to put that ring on him. Both times he got very harsh answers. So now the internet is his only source of hope.

And...no luck. He didn't had much time left before he had to go and get ready for the dinner with The Styles family. To be honest he kind of did looked forward to see Harry again. Sure, he wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of getting married but he wasn't going to lie and say that he didn't find Harry attractive.

He agreed on not telling Harry anything about the whole soulmate/made for each other/destiny thing. Mostly because... well, he didn't want Harry to think that he was a freak with a weird family.

Zayn! They are here! His mother yelled from down the halls. Zayn just finished spraying some cologne and walked over to his window. He watched as a black chevrolet SUV drove through their gate. He took a deep breath and made his way towards the stairs but not before taking one last glance of himself in the mirror.

As he made his way down the stairs he saw his father standing at the bottom of it, watching Zayn's every single move with a disapproval look on his face. "Just remember what your grandparents said and don't embarrass me again." His father said as Zayn walked passed him. Zayn decided on not reacting and just rolled his eyes before standing next to his mother, who was waiting at the front door.

Finally the car stopped right in front of their house and the Styles were getting out of the car. The man, who Zayn assumed was Harry's father, handed the keys over to Mark, the employee of The Malik's whose job it was to park the car behind the house.

"Ah Robin" Zayn's dad said before walking over to Robin to shake his hands. "I'm glad that you could make it."
Behind Robin were Anne and Harry standing, Anne shook Tricia's hand and complimented her house. Harry just kind of stood there, not sure where to look and what to say. "Come in" Tricia said before they all went inside.

"This is my son, Zayn" Yaser pointed at Zayn as soon as they were in the living room. Zayn went to shake Robin's hand. "Uhm hello" he mumbled. "Nice to meet you Zayn" Robin said before taking a seat on the couch. "So you're the guy that threw up on my son?" Anne asked jokingly as she shook Zayn's hand. "Uh yeah, sorry about that" Zayn answered with a red face, clearly embarrassed.

"Mom!" Harry huffed while angrily glancing over at her. "Sorry, he knows I'm joking right Zayn? It is really nice to meet you. Harry was right, you are very handsome" Anne continued.

"MOM!" Harry yelled again and watched as his mother started laughing. "What? You did say that, didn't you?"

"T-thank you?" Zayn blushed. Harry thinks I'm handsome?

"So, uhm... Dinner should be ready in a few. Would anyone like a glass of wine?" Tricia tried changing the subject before it all started to become more awkward then it already was.

"I could go for some wine" Anne answered before taking a seat next to her husband.

"Robin lets leave the ladies to have their wine, I have something stronger for us waiting at the bar." Yaser said before standing up and leading Robin towards the bar outside.

Zayn and Harry were the only one still standing. They haven't even exchanged words to each other. Just one nod coming from Harry when Zayn looked over at him.
