"Congratulations to the initiates moving on to the next stage." Max says as the ranks are put up.

(Etc till 15 which is Al, 19 which is Tris, and 20 which is Myra)

Peter wraps his arms around my waist and hugs me tightly.

"I told you that you'd be going up a space." Peter says with a weird smile. Why would he be acting weird? He wouldn't hurt me for a rank would he? I shrug it off.

"Well I had some help along the way." I reply and kiss his cheek. His smile widens and he hugs me closer to him.

"Get some sleep. Visiting Day is tomorrow." Eric tells us. Peter begins to lead me out of the dining hall but I stop.

"I need to ask Eric something. I'll be there in a bit." I say softly and give him a quick kiss.

"Okay." Peter replies before leaving. I walk over to Eric, whom raises an eyebrow at me.

"There's something going on with Peter." I tell Eric. He rolls his eyes before starting to leave.

"I'm not responsible for your couple problems." Eric says. I sigh.

"It's nothing to do with me. At least I hope it doesn't." I reply. He stops and looks at me.

"What do you mean?" Eric asks.

"After the ranks went up...he started acting weird since I took his place in 2nd." I tell him. He crosses his arms.

"If something happens to another initiate. He'll be the first one interrogated if needed." Eric tells me. I nod.

"Good. Okay well thank you. Goodnight, Eric." I say.

"Goodnight, Lily." Eric replies. I turn and go to the dorm. I spot Peter tossing and turning on his bed. I walk over to him and sit on the edge of his bed.

"Hey." I say softly. He looks up at me.

"Hey." He replies with relief on his face. I stroke his cheek lovingly. I start to feel guilty about telling Eric to watch for weird behavior from Peter.

"Is everything okay?" I ask. He sighs.

"No. But it will be. Just...stay with me. Okay?" Peter asks pleadingly. I nod.

"Yeah. Of course." I reply and lay down beside him.

"No matter what happens?" Peter asks. I kiss him.

"Not even a meteor could take me away from you." I say softly. Peter pulls me to his chest and holds onto me like his life depends on it.

"I love you, Lily." Peter whispers.

"I love you too, Peter." I whisper back, beginning to feel the guilt spread throughout my body. I cuddle into his chest and try my best to fall asleep.

--Time Lapse--

I stand beside Peter as we look for our families.

"I see my dad. Wanna go meet him first?" I ask. Peter smiles and nods.

"Sure, Feisty." He replies. I roll my eyes and take his hand. I drag him over to my father.

"Hi dad." I greet the tall Abnegation man. He hugs me.

"Kaitlyn. Look at you. You look...different." He says with a small smile. I smile.

"Well I hope that's a good thing. And my name is Lily now. I changed it." I laugh.
