Chapter 5 : school

~ Amelia's P.O.V ~

So today is school day and I'm really looking forward it. I go have a wash and get dressed into my blue acid wash jeans and grey top with an American flag on it and my white converse. I put my phone and earphones in my brown leather back pack and my pencil case. I walk downstairs to see Emma and tom in their school uniform.
"Mum that's not fair Amelia gets to wear her own clothes" Emma whines.
"That's because she is older than you and in a different class as well" my mum trying to reason with her.
"But mum I don't like these clothes I want to wear my own clothes like Amelia" Emma starts shouting.
"Milly take this" she says while hands me some money. "go an get some breakfast in Starbucks or Emma will start to tear my eyes out" she whispers. i giggle a Bit and put my bag over my shoulders and say bye to everyone and walk out just when I hear Emma scream and cry. I sigh and take my phone and earphones out of my bag and plug the earphones in the phone and put the buds in my ears while I start walking I I look down so could put some music on it was will.i. am bang bang. I love this song it's so cool. as I walk down the pavement I see Starbucks in sight and walk more until i react the door and open it.
A smell of fresh coffee hit my face while I walk in to the woman standing behind the counter.
"What can I get you?" she asked.
"Em.. can I have a caramel frappé please" I say. " okay can I take your name please" " yeah it's Amelia " I say.
I go and sit down at an empty booth and wait until someone came and sat in front of me.
"Hey Amelia long time no see" I look up and see calum. I smile.
"Hey calum we sore each other yesterday." I say giggling. "oh yeah well it felt like for ages. so where are you heading to?" he asks me. " I'm going to school and you?" "Going to school as well..wait can I see your planner please?" he asks "yeah sure" I pull out my planner from my bag and hand it to him. he looks at it then his eyes grow wide. whats going on. "you.go.to.the.same.school.i.go.to.oh my gosh" he squeals. "really cool we could walk together" I say as I take my planner back from him and put it back in my bag.
"So what do you take?" I ask him while he sips his coffee. "em..i take English, p.e, maths and history." he says "and you?" " I take science, English, geography and dan- " just as I was about to stop my self from saying dance when the woman called my name lets hope he doesn't ask what I do last. I get up and walk over to collect my drink and go and sit back in the booth. I took the straw in my mouth and drank some of the nice drink. the cool liquid slid down my throat and in my stomach. " oh that's nice" I here him giggle. "what have you got first?" He asks. " I have science you?" "history" he replies. " Oh I think we should go its 8:30" I say. "yeah let's go." we both walk out of the door with our drinks still in our hands.

~ 10 minutes later ~

We finally got to school which seemed like for ever. we walked through the big doors to the school and you could see lots of children running around looking for there classes and screams of friends finally reunited again. " oh gosh i think i should go but I'll see you in English next" I heard calum say above the load noise. "okay better get going" and then we hug. I feel that comforting feeling every time we hug its just ehh. I walk down the hall getting pushed a bit by some people. then I finally find my science class and walk in. you know in films when someone walks into a class late and then everyone is looking at that person well that's what happened.
"Oh.. hello mrs Williams I see you have found our class" the teacher says. I smile. "yeah it was a bit of trouble" I say. "can you take a seat next to mr irwin please" she says while pointing to a boy at the science table for two at the back of the class. I walk to the back and take a seat. "hey I'm ashton" he says and smiles. "Hi I'm Amelia" I reply.
"So class today we will be learning about the electromagnetic spectrum" the teacher says. While she explains what its about me and ashton just talk. and mess around a bit. he's really cool. day 1 and I made 1 friend. the bell rings and we were exuded. I start to walk to English when I felt someone bump into me and I think I knock them over. "oh my gosh are you okay I soo sorry." I quickly say. " I'm okay, it's okay" she replies. she gets up and puts out her hand to shake and I do.
"My names Abbie what's ours" she asks. " I'm Amelia or people call me milly." I say. Abbie had a light ash coloured hair and hazel eyes with little pink lips. she is really pretty. "I'm soo sorry still" "it's okay what do you have now" she asks. "I have English you?" "English too great lets walk together." she squeals. "okay let's go".

~ skipping day to dance~

I get in to the changing rooms and get changed in my leotard and black tights with no base (no feet) then I tie my hair back in a messy bun. I walk in to the dance studio and its massive and so beautiful. " hello girls lets welcome our new student Amelia" I get a chorus of hi's and hey's. 'okay let's begin" she shouts. we do Walm ups and start learning the new contemporary dance the song is words by skylar grey. it's was going great when I heard I bunch of boys walk past use and start do wolf whistles. then I freeze as I heard calums laughs. he had probably seen me dance now so I stopped but then get told to keep going by the teacher so I carry in then they were gone.

~back home~

"So honey how was your day" mum asked as I walked through the door. "it was great and I mad son new friends and I did dance." I say. "was it good?" she asks. "Great" I smile. " I'm going to have a shower and do some homework the sleep." I say. "okay bye honey" as I walk up the stairs I take off my shoes and socks and when I walk in my room and scholar the door and start taking my clothes off in the bathroom and have a shower. I then put on my smiley face P.J's and do some geography homework. when I finish I put my iPhone in the charger and lay on top of the covers and close my eyes and fall asleep.
