Chapter 8 : park

~ Amelia's P.O.V ~

I got changed back into my normal clothes and locked my locker and then walked down the hall back to the reseption and said thanks to the woman at the desk. I walked out, I grabbed my bag and took my phone out. I looked at the time and it was 2:00 pm. 10 minutes and I need to be at park.
But what if Calum isn't there because of what happened before. I think I might go home.

~ Calum's P.O.V ~

I was sat in the park waiting for Amelia. I'm looking down at the grass under my feet. I don't think she's coming its 2:30 I might go home. as I was about to get up from the bench, I tall figure stood in front of me.
"Im so sorry Calum" I heard her say.
"It's okay" I sigh.
"No Calum you don't understand I'm really sorry I just got court up in time" she pledges.
"No Amelia it's fine I'm cool with it"
"Are you sure I mean..."
"Yeah.... can I ask you a question?" I ask while she sits down on the bench beside me.
"Uh huh" " where were you?" I ask.
"Er..Er well I can't really say" she started.

~ Amelia's P.O.V ~

"Where were you?" He asked.
"Er..Er well I can't really say" I start.
SUGER BALLS HELP ME AGAIN!!
Why did he ask me this question out of all questions this one I can't tell him, I just can't tell him.
"Why can't you tell me?"
" I just can't listen Calum I can make it up to you I swear we... we could go watch a film tomorrow if you want?" I said more of like a question.
"Er... ok"
"Ok I'm so sorry"
"It's ok I promise"
"I'm ju-" I got cut if by Calum hugging me. I felt so safe in his arms. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head in the crook if his neck and then he did the same. I felt his hot breath on my neck it made me calm and then I closed my eyes.
"Er excuse me" I heard someone say. we both pulled away. I look down and see a little girl around 7 years old.
"Hello I just wanted to say you two are so cute together" she said. I was a little taken back about what she said but still smiled.
"Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?" she asked. "Er.. no we are just friends" Calum spoke up. "oh.. that a shame you two would be perfect for each other." she finished.
"Izzy come back here!" "oh sorry that's my mom well bye" she waved at us and we waved back as she ran back to her mum.
"Well that was a little awkward" Calum said. My phone started ringing
So I took it out of my pocket and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Milly you need to come home please it's really important"
"Ok mum ill be there in 10 bye"
"Bye"
"Sorry I have to go home but Ill see you tomorrow at 8:30"
"Ok bye milly" he smiled. just seeing him smile made me smile.
I waved and he waved back. I decided to run home seeming its important.

~ 10 minutes later ~

"I'm home" I yell.
"We're in the kitchen" mum yells back as I walk into the kitchen.
"So what's up?"
" We got a letter today and its for you, you need to go to your room read it and then think about it me and your dad have already read it but we need you to approve of it" she sounds really serious. she hands me the letter and then I run up the stairs missing 2 till I got to my room. I shut the door and dived onto my bed. I open the letter and read:

Dear Mrs Williams,
We are writing to inform you that there is a place for you to attend the
Sydney dance company.
If you do want to start coming here then please give us a call as soon as possible thank you and I hope you join us.

"AHHHH OH MY GOSH WHAT!!" I screamed. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"I showed them the videos you deserve to go" she simply said.
"THANK YOU SOO MUCH MUM I LOVE YOU!!" I screamed and hugged her.
"So do you want to go?" she asked.
"Yes of course I do"
"Ok then but that means you will be there every day of the week 24/7"
"What about school?"
"I've already talked to them and they said that you will still be able to attend school"
"Thank you so much mum I'm not kidding" I kissed her cheek.
"Ok milly I will call them but you need you go to bed ok"
"Ok goodnight mum"
