chapter 12 : christmas day

~ Amelia's P.O.V ~

" wake up Milly" mum yelled.

" what's going on?" I asked.

" you need to get ready" she said.

" why?"i asked.

" because we need to go to the hoods for Christmas dinner" she replied.

"OK I'm up just let me get dressed" i said.

she walked out of my room and closed the door. i got up and walked to the bathroom. i switch on the shower and striped i felt the water it was hot so i got in. I soaped my body and then rinsed it.

I got out and wrapped a blue towel around me. i walked back in to my room and into the wardrobe. i scanned the shelves and found a blue jumper with a snowman and snow falling around it. I took a pair of blue skinny jeans and a pair of blue Christmas socks with patterns on it. I pulled out some blue converse from the bottom shelf. I put everything on and waled back into my room. I sat down on the chair in front of my mirror. I picked up my brush and started brushing my hair and up it in to a side braid that sat on my shoulder. I put some natural make up on and then i got up, took my phone out of the charger and then walked down stairs.

" good morning milly" dad said from the kitchen. i walked into the kitchen.

"nice jumper you have on there" dad stated.

" thanks dad" I said.

" have you finished packing?" he asked.

"nearly" i said.

"milly have some breakfast we will be laving in 20 minutes" mum yelled.

I walked to the cupboard and pulled out a bowl and some cornflakes and milk. I finished my breakfast and walked into the living room. I took calum's present out of my bag and held it.

" Emma come on we have to go !" mum yelled.

Emma ran downstairs and then we were of.

we walked out our house and walked to the hoods house. We stood out side their house. Mum rang the door bell and we waited a bit then someone answered the door.

"hello" Miss hood said.

there was a chorus of hey's and hi's and hello's.

"come in everyone" Miss hood said.

we walked in then i heard someone running down the stairs.

"Calum stop running." Miss hood shouted.

"hey Milly!!" Calum said.

"hey Calum, oh... this is for you" I said and handed him the present.

"aww thanks Milly come with me I have your present upstairs" he said.

" mum i'm going to give Amelia her present" he shouted.

"ok but i dont want any funny buisness" she shouted back.

"ok" he replied.

we walked up the stairs and into his room.

"here you go" he said while handing me a medium sized box.

"i wanna open it" i said smiling.

" ok ill open my present and you open yours at the same time" he said.

" 1..2...3... go" we said in sync.

i ripped open the paper andi looked at this brown box. I lifted the foldes and pulled out a black leotard and a orange top that said 'dance like nobody's watching'

" awww thank you Calum i love it!!" i said while hugging him.

"Milly ahhhh thank you so much!!" he shouted and hugged back.

when we calmed down i had to tell him about what doing to happen tomorrow.

"Calum I need to tell you something" I said.

"what?" he said.

" I'm leaving tomorrow"

" to go to the dance school" the finished off looking sad and hanging his head low.

" yeah" I said.

" why are you going?"

" because I want to" I said.

" and leave me here?"

" no because I want to dance its the only way I feel free that is the only way I can enjoy myself and I can't let that get away from me" I said.

" gosh you must love to dance" he said.

" yeah but I dont want to leave you but I want band need to go as well"

"how long are you staying there for?" he asked.

" 2 months" I said.

" 2 bloody months with out seeing you is going to be hard" he said. that made my heart melt.

" I promise that I will text and call and Skype what ever OK?" I said.

" yeah" he said then he pulled me in for a hug.
