Chapter 31 : back to school (2)

~Amelia's P.O.V ~

I walked down the busy hallway to find Calum waiting by the big school doors. I smile as I see him.

"You ready?" he asks while pulling me out the doors and onto the street.

"Where we going?" I ask a not confused.

"We're going to Starbucks" he get let out now to have lunch were ever we want to or you can just eat at the cafeteria.

We started slowing down an walking at a slow pace. "Calum?" "Yeah?"
"Can I ask you a question?" I ask.
He turns to me and looks me in the eye.

"Yeah what's up?" I sigh trying to find the words I would use. "where's...... Nicole gone?" "Milly..... she's gone back to London" he explained. "how come I didn't know?" "because you where in your room half of the time".

He smiled showing a small smile. I smiled back. we arrived at Starbucks and sat down at our booth.

"Why did she leave?" I ask. I was probably acting like a complete fool asking why she left but i just need to know from him.

"She said she had enough of what ever was going on" I Jesus I ruined my friendship with my best-friend and now she's not going to talk to me or even listen to me.

"Yes she will don't worry" Calum said.
Did I say that out loud?. "yes you did" he replied. "I'm sorry Calum I'm just a bit stressed out" I sighed running my hand through my hair.

"It's ok do you wanna come over after school?" he asked. this is really sweet of him to ask seeming I'm really down.

"Yeah if that's ok with you" I sighed.
"Yeah of course" he smiled.

We finished probably a really long day of school and walked out the gates. Me and Calum made our way to his house. "Milly you know you can come over any time you want if something's wrong ill be here" he said looking down. "thanks Calum..... you know you are like my best guy friend ever" I said turning to him and hugging him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. we stood there for a while in silence then I pulled away from the hug.

"Milly why you crying?" he said. I hadn't even noticed. he lifted my head up and whipped the hot tears of my face with his thumb.

"I'm sorry" I said. "I'm being really stupid" I laughed a bit. "come on" he pulled my hand to his front door. he opened it and we walked in.

"Oh hello Amelia" joy greeted as she walked in the hall way from the kitchen. "hey miss hood" I sniffed and smiled. "Amelia how many times do I have to tell you to call me joy" she walked over to me and pulled me into a hug.

This is probably what I need now a hug. I wish my mum was here. I felt hot tears stream down my face. I hugged joy tighter. "Amelia what's wrong" she whispered.

"I want my mum back" I sobbed quietly. "it's ok" She rubbed my back.
"Do you wan to sleep over?" she asked pulling away. "if that's ok with you" I whipped the tears away. "sure" he pulled me to the kitchen then Calum followed shortly after.

She sat me on the stool and took my jacket, shoes and bag of me and brought them to the hall. she came back and went to the cooker. Calum sat next on a stool. joy brought over two plates of rice and curry.

"You ok?" he asked. "yeah".
"Calum take Amelia to the living room and watch a film" joy said. "ok" he took my hand in his and lead me to the living room.

I sat I the floor and waited for Calum to put a film in. he came and sat next to me. The film started playing then I noticed it was monsters inc. I turned to look at him and then I smiled.

"Good chose" I giggled. "I love this movie" He yelled. I started laughing uncontrollably. "Calum" joy yelled.
"Yeah?" He said innocently. "stop yelling" she said calmly. "Sorry" he called. We both looked back to the t.v.

I yawned quietly and rested my head on the sofa. "you tired?" he asked. It was starting getting dark out and it was already 9 o'clock. "a bit" I rubbed my eyes. "come with me" he pulled me up and led me up the stairs.

We walked into his room and he went to his draw l. he pulled out some clothes and handed them to me.

"Thanks" I started to strip down forgetting that Calum was still there. he quickly turned around trying not to stare. "done" I said. "You can turn around". I threw my hair up in a messy bun. he stared at me looking at me up and down. "what?" I asked.

"Nothing it's just that it look much better than me wearing those clothes"
I looked down and I noticed that I was wearing a NASA top which was really big. I smiled. "you bought another one?" "yeah you took my other one"
