Chapter 23

TWO YEARS LATER!!!

Rowans POV

"Rowan get your demon ass over here!" Sam yelled as I ripped the head off of another vampire. I waved my hand in my dads direction and was pleased to hear that my aim was still perfect as I heard the vampire hit the concrete wall behind me.

"you okay?" I called, a smug smile plastered across my face.

"yeah, thanks." he grumbled.

Finishing the last bloodsucker in reach, I turned to face Sam. He brought his machete onto the vampires throat. I smiled and checked myself for injuries. Just a scratch on my forearm.

"Looks like we're done here." Sam said as I shuffled over to him. His smile faded as he glanced up at my face. "Forgetting something?"

I shook my head. "Don't think so..." I trailed off, realising what he meant. I screwed my eyes shut and opened them slowly. "better?"

Sam nodded. "Green again."

"Shouldn't Dean be done now?" I sighed, changing the subject. Dad hated the colour of my eyes when I went 'demon'.

"yeah"

Dean POV

"There isn't anything here Lil." I called shaking my head.

"I felt something here, Dean" Lily muttered.

"Don't worry about it." I said pulling her into a hug. I felt the fabric of my jacket tighten as she held me close. My eyes sank shut as she slid her hands across my back. "C'mon." I whispered into her hair. "Lets check on Rowan and Sammy."

She nodded and I let her go. Sighing, I pulled the top of my jacket closer to my neck and trudged back the way we came.

Rowan POV

"Um, Dad?" I whispered, my eyes widening.

Sam looked at me, concerned. "What's wrong?"

I pointed to his hair. "you're missing a chunk."

Sams jaw dropped as his hands grabbed his head. Sure enough, a large piece of his hair was no longer attached to his head.

"No!" He wailed, desperately trying to find the lock of hair. "My hair! It's gone!"

"It will grow back." I sniggered.

Glass crunched under the broken window.

"Now, what's all the shouting about?" I heard my uncles gruff voice boom.

Sam swiftly covered the bald patch with more of his thick hair. "Nice to see that you finally turned up!"

"You look a state." Dean chuckled, earning a mega bitch face from Sam. "Get your asses in the Impala."
