Apparently obtaining adoption records for a child under the age of 18 is impossible. For me, nothing is impossible. If you want something enough, you will fight for it. No matter what.

Even if you have to cancel a date with your gorgeous Irishman. Sacrifices must be made in life. It seems this is today's sacrifice. I spend hours looking for a private investigator, my own Sherlock Holmes. So much for making an effort for this new job.

Back when I was at college, I decided that I wanted to work with children, so I took a course in childcare. No more desk dummy. I am now going to be a carer for disabled children.

Back to my search. I, eventually, find a woman named Rita Dennis. She was officially trained as a detective, but decided to go private after receiving a disastrous pay-cut. Something about the openness of her profile really appealed to me, her honesty making her more approachable. I messaged her to explain my predicament: I was pregnant with twins when I was younger. My beautiful daughter had sadly passed away in my arms and, through extreme guilt, I made the heart-wrenching decision to put my son up for adoption.

Almost immediately, she replied, intrigued by my story and agreeing to help. With extreme delight I told her all the information I know. Birth Name: Joshua Cleary; Date Of Birth: 7th January 2002; Birth Mother: Ellowyn Cleary; Father (as of birth certificate): Unknown.

At about 4 o'clock, I finally realize my hunger. All I have had is a cup of tea all day; not exactly a sufficient food consumption. Stretching my cramped legs, I make my way downstairs to the kitchen. I quite fancy pizza. I might be cheeky and order in... Should I? Of course. As the dialling tone is ringing in my ears, I quickly scan the takeaway menu, mentally deliberating what to get. After deciding on getting a selection to share with Jenny and Glen, I order and put the phone down, walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch next to Jenny.

"Danny called." She states, as if I already know this fact.

"What was he after?" I question, genuinely intrigued about what he wanted.

"He said you cancelled on him earlier; he was worried. I thought you two were getting on better than ever now..."

"We are," I smile, "I just had something really important to do. I'll give him a ring now it makes you feel any better, okay?"

"Good, and invite him over for pizza. You need to make it up to him."

"Yes ma'am!" I declared, with a mock salute. I grab my mobile and take off back into the kitchen, leaving Jenny giggling to herself.

"Hi Wyn!" Danny greets, a smile obvious through his voice.

"Hey, I'm sorry about earlier; I had loads of preparation to do for my job interview."

"Oh, I see how it is... This job is going to be more important than me, is it?" He jokes, taking advantage of my apologetic side.

"You got a problem with that O'Donoghue?"

"What if I have?"

"So you don't fancy coming over for a pizza then... That's fine with me..." I trail off, a huge grin plastered across my face.

"I'll be right there!" With that he hangs up. Charming.
