chapter 5 part 1

Mitsuko's p.o.v

"Third place? You always do so well" Tatsuki said, patting Orihime's head, who laugh. Her friends join in. I look at the board, looking for my name. I really don't bother with this kind of stuff.

"Hey, Yuki. It looks like your tie with Uryu Ishida again in first place" Ichigo said. At first I was surprise that he notice me, but now I'm use to it.

"....Yeah. You and Chad too. Congratulation on getting top 50" Chad and I had been getting along. He's like a big brother to me.

"Yeah, I don't know how you and Chad got along so fast" Ichigo said, while I let out a small smile.

Flashback

"You're Chad, right?" I said, looking at him, holding something. Chad look at me and nodded, he was on the ground searching for something.

"This is yours right?" I said holding out a coin, and the next thing I knew he was in front of me, looking at the coin. I look at his fists, and frown a little.

"Don't tell me you hit someone, Yasutora" I said, stern and mentally confuse, when I saw his eyes widen. Did I say something wrong?

"What's the point in hitting someone, if you hurt those who hurt you? What's left? An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. Yasutora... You are big for your age and handsome too, how bless you are. You possess many precious gifts. A sharp mind, an iron will, and especially a heart of gold" I said, pointing to his heart. His eyes continue to widen. Strange...

"-These talent and qualities makes you very different, so people will pick on you, find fault in what you do and will try to bring you down" I turn around, and look at him and then to the sky.

" I wish we could live in the world where that doesn't exist, but this is the world we live in. But in spite of that, you must be kind and find a good use for your big strong fist and use them in a way that'll help our world."  I look at him once more, he's crying, and I smile softly. Before patting his head and left.

I walk alone to the hospital, usually I'm walking home with Ichigo, but not today. Since Ichigo is following that Uryu Ishida guy. I stop walking, my eyes widen.

I look above the sky and there it was. Hollows....

I began to run to the direction of the hospital. Luckily, it wasn't that far away, but I can't keep my hopes up. I began running faster and instantly I turn in my Shinigami form.

'hang in there Ken' I thought, even though I didn't met him yet. Summoning soul ribbons, I quickly grab his.

Sweat drip onto my forehead. Many hollows gathering around me. I look at  a sleeping Ken on my back. Why am I bringing Ken with me? It's dangerous.
