Chapter 1- Jealousy

{Joey's POV}

I can't believe it... just a week ago we had a great house in Boston and now we have nothing but some clothes. Luckilly my aunt knew a house we could rent... or else we would've been homeless. 'Joey! Breakfast's ready!' my mom yells from downstairs. 'Okay mom, I'm coming!'

I see my mom and Nicole sitting at the table. 'Hey Joey!' Nicole says soft. My mom doesn't say anything. She's just sitting there, watching me. 'Goodmorning Nicole, Goodmorning mom.' I say quikly. 'Don't forget your stuff on the fridge begore you go to school.' my mom says and I look at her. Is she going to leave me and Nicole alone? 'I'm just going to get some stuff Joey, but I don't know if I'll be back before you're going to school. So if I'm not going to make it in time: Good luck at your new school.' she kisses my forehead and then walks over to Nicole. 'And you good luck at your new job! I'm so proud of you.' ofcourse she is, she always loved Nicole more than she loved me. Nicole gets the better bedroom, Nicole gets the better parts when we're eating meat , Nicole gets the better this, Nicole gets the better that, Nicole gets the better everything.

And before I know it it's 8:00 and the bus is near, so I quickly get all my stuff and wait for the bus to come.
