Chapter 11: Leaving

{Shane's POV}

We watched Joey standing up from his last dare. "Guys... mom can come home any second!" Nicole says. "So... what?" "We have to stop playing." Joey says. "No! I want one more dare!" I say, allmost yelling. "Fine, I'll give you a dare." Nicole says. "Shane, I dare you to kiss Joey." I feel my cheeks turning red. I look at Joey and I see that he's turning red too. So I just smile at him and wink, making him look even more like a tomato. He opens his mouth as to say something, and I quickly start kissing him. He starts kissing back and we stayed like this for minutes, making the butterflies in my stomach go crazy. And that moment, I hear a voice. "Joey?" oh no!

"Ehm... I- ehm... I think I should go." I say, looking at Joey. "Yes, I think you should." Joey's mom says. So I walk away, trying to move my leg as little as possible.

{Joey's POV}

"What did I do wrong Joey?" Mom asks me. "You didn't do anything wrong! I am being me." "No Joey! You're acting like a homosexual!" That makes me feel bad, but I smile anyways. "That's funny mom, because I am gay!" I say... feeling proud to come out to my mom. But my mom isn't that happy. "Get out! And come back when you're your straight self!" She yells at me... and I run to my room to grab my stuff.

-------- 10 minutes later --------

I finished packing some clothes and some of my other stuff. I hear Nicole screaming at my mom downstairs, but I sneak past them and run away from my old house. The house I'd never see again.
