I opened my eyes and squinted. Morning light glowed around me.
I realized I was outside. Gnarly trees towered over me. What was I doing here? I also noticed that my human brain was in control. So... did that mean I was human?
I got up slowly, because my back was burning with pain.
Two legs- I was human. I also happened to be wrapped in a jacket, which was helpful, because I was completely naked.
"So you're finally up, lazy? It took you way too long to wake up." A girl said, and she started giggling with another girl. I looked up- they were the girls from last night. The ones who had slammed me into a wall.
But I couldn't feel angry anymore, as if all my anger was gasoline that I had burned up last night.
I walked towards them with one hand on my back for support. "I'm not sure if I should thank you or punch you guys." I said awkwardly. They giggled once again.
"How 'bout you just eat some waffles for now?" Lily said. "Not sure if they're as good as your parents, though." she joked.
I realized I was starving. "Alright. But can you explain what happened last night and who you are?" I looked at Lily's friend.
"Sure, but you might not believe us." Lily's friend answered.
I stared at them. "I just transformed into a wolf, broke my bedroom door, snapped a broom in half, and tried to eat my parents. Yeah- I think I'll believe anything at this point."
Lily shrugged. "Well, let's eat, then."
