Eden was in the car. But this wasn't a normal boring car ride, in this car Eden was with one of the people she really hated at the moment and another one she didn't mind. They were Damian Wayne and Dick Grayson. Eden was sat in the back seat, with Dick driving and Damian was in the passenger seat.
"I could have driven myself," Snapped Damian. Eden scoffed and rolled her eyes, she really wasn't going to enjoy this.
"And I could've my ridden motorbike," snapped Eden. "At least then I wouldn't have to be trapped in a car with mister-I-only-work-alone"
"After the stunt you two pulled you're lucky to be allowed within ten feet of a steering wheel" Dick said as the car sped up. Eden looked out the window grumpily. On one side there was the ocean on the other side it rocky and mountainous.
"So this is my punishment, enduring a bunch of school children," Damian snapped again.
"This is not a punishment," said Dick.
"It certainly feels like one," muttered Eden.
"Hopefully you'll learn to be part of a team," continued Dick, ignoring Eden's snarky comment.
"And the saga of Eden the ghost continues," muttered Eden. "Maybe I need to step up my sarcasm game."
"And they're not children they're teenagers," said Dick, ignoring Eden once again.
"Worse," said Damian.
"Don't tell me Damian Wayne is afraid of a little socialising," teased Dick. Eden snickered slightly.
"I'm not afraid of anything," snapped Damian.
"Except confronting Eden, your friendly neighborhood ghost," Eden muttered, continuing her series snarky comments.
"Teammates are a liability," Damian continued, ignoring Eden once again.
"I must be an amazing ghost because I'm starting to think that I'm invisible," Eden muttered bitterly.
"Really then what am I to you?" Asked Dick, continuing to ignore Eden.
"An unavoidable irritation," growled Damian.
"What am I to you" Asked Eden innocently. This time not mumbling. Damian paused for a second, his confidence faltering. Eden frowned at his silence.
"An annoying itch," lied Damian, but Eden didn't pick it up.
"You know I think I prefer being a ghost," Eden said light heartedly, pretending that she didn't care, but it hurt her slightly. A frown took over features as her uncaring façade faltered. Damian and Eden's eyes widened as they saw a mass letter T peaking through the mountains. The Batmobile moved closer revealing ever more of the building. The T looked like it was made entirely out of glass except for the edges of the building they were white. In a few short minutes the Batmobile had pulled up in front of the large letter shaped building.
"Try not to behead anyone," Dick said, as the top of the Batmobile slid back and he jumped over it.
"Who are talking to?" Eden asked, grabbing her duffle bag and jumping out after him.
"Both of you," Dick said, as Damian also got out of the car. Eden's eyes scanned the four people standing before her. First was a boy wearing a red suit that was completely green. Hair, Irises, skin, everything. Standing next to him was a tall boy in a black and blue metal suit that had symbols that sort of looked like bugs on them. The next person Eden's eyes found was a girl covered in a purple cloak. Half of her face was covered by her hood and the other half was showing her pale skin. The last person Eden saw was a woman with red hair, green eyes and a small, tight light purple suit, that covered very little of her skin. Eden really see how it was functional, but as long as the woman was comfortable with it then Eden didn't see a problem.
