The word 'steady' was the only thing that could be heard throughout the silent tower. Jaime glared at Garfield as a loud crash sounded throughout the entire tower. Garfield stared from the floor at the mess of blocks that sat on the table that he had been on before he got pushed off by a wave of blocks. To be fair Garfield had turned into a lizard to try to steady the block tower, but he got pushed off instead. Jamie and Garfield were sitting in one of the many rooms in the tower, Jaime was trying to concentrate on his laptop, but was finding it hard due to Garfield's constant distractions.

"Can you please do that anywhere else?" Jaime asked irritably. The armour covering Jaime's  face was down, but the rest of him was covered by his armour.

"Jaime," called out Damian, who had seemed to just appear in the doorway.

"Yeah," Jaime responded enthusiastically.

"Perhaps it was a mistake to challenge you this morning without knowing the full capacity of your Alien attachment," Damian said seriously, his hands folded behind his back. "I promise you, it won't happen again." Damian turned and walked away from his place in the doorway, leaving a confused Jaime behind.

"Did he just say he's sorry?" Asked Jaime, looking towards Garfield. Garfield transformed back into a human and looked at Jaime.

"Aww, see he likes you, cooed Garfield.

Starfire walked down the hallway, the sound of her heels being the only thing she could hear. Starfire made her way back to her room, she stopped at her door, listening to the noise coming from inside. It was the sound of computer keys. Starfire walked into room and stood in the doorway. Damian was sitting in front of Starfire's computer, sifting through files, his green eyes scanning the words on the screen.

"What are you doing in my room?" Inquired Starfire, crossing her arms. "We have rules Damian." Damian ignored her and promptly looked the other way. Starfire walked over to Damian and closed to laptop that was still open in front of him.

"You never trespass another person's space," Starfire said, clearly getting annoyed at the boy.

"You have nothing on her," Damian said, ignoring Starfire as he slid the chair back and put his hand up to his chin. "No background, no history."

"On who?" Asked Starfire.

"Raven,"answered Damian, like it was the obvious answer. "You're the leader of this group, you should know everything about her. It's called vetting."

"She's fourteen," Starfire said softly. "No mother, no father. She grew up in a hostile realm, not unlike my own planet. She escaped like I did. We didn't know anything about Raven when we took her in except that she needed a home. A place to grow." Damian stood up, annoyed at Starfire, at her insufferable trust in people.

"I was taught that knowledge was power, and you knew nothing about her," Damian said accusingly.

"How much do you have to know when people are in need," Starfire said, her arms still crossed. "Garfield was eleven when his genetics kicked in and gave him green skin and powers, we still don't know the purpose of Jaime's alien armour or all of its abilities. We just knew that they needed help. You just have to have a little faith sometimes."

"Faith is belief based on an absence of data," Damian said, turning his back on Starfire. "It invites disaster." Damian left the room leaving an annoyed Starfire in his wake.
