"So there's a rumor going around that you're not playing tomorrow." Olivia told Scott while writing a math equation on the chalkboard

"It's because I'm sort of not."

"Well, Lydia thinks you sort of are. I do too because, well, you're first line. You go to every game no matter what. And I think you're gonna get yelled at by Lydia considering you injured Jackson  by railing into him."

"He brutally injured himself by brutally running into me."

Olivia shrugged, "Jackson will be playing tomorrow and I'm sure Lydia will be upset considering he won't at his "peak" and as she said "I prefer my boyfriend, at peak performance.""

"Okay?"

"Listen, Lydia dates the captain of the lacrosse team. I may not care, but if they start off the season losing my sister will have a lot to say about dating the captain of the loosing lacrosse team. And she doesn't date losers. And if she ends up dating a looser, I won't hear the end of it." Olivia said, rolling her eyes. Olivia honestly didn't give a shit, but her sister had told her what to say to Scott earlier so she's just doing what she's told.

"Loosing one game isn't going to kill anyone." Scott snapped, "in fact it might even save someone."

"Fine. Whatever. i honestly don't even care. We'll probably win anyway, and we''ll go out afterwards like Lydia is making me. And I'm really sorry about this part, I really have no control over this and Lydia told to tell you but, she'll introduce Allison to all of the hot players on the team and I'm not saying the last part because it's mean and unnecessary."  Olivia said, finishing the problem and returning to her seat.

Olivia felt bad for the guy, she really did. But she had no control over her sister's actions.

...

School had just ended and Lydia had dragged Olivia to the hospital with her and Jackson. Olivia wanted to just stay home but Lydia forced her against here own will so here she was sitting next to Lydia who was talking on a bluetooth to who knows, and listening to music with her earphones.

Scott and Stiles had just arrived so that Scott could see if the bodies scents matched. As Stiles walked to the front desk, he spotted Olivia sitting next to her sister.

"Oh my god." he whispered to himself

Finally gathering the courage, he decided that he'd admit his feelings (well some of them) to Olivia after giving himself a pep talk in his head.

"Hey Olivia." he said raising his arm so that he was leaning against the wall.

Olivia, listening to music looked up and saw Stiles, when she tried turning down the music, the button stopped working. Not wanting to be rude by looking away, she fiddled with the button as he talked, not hearing a word he said.

"I talked to you yesterday." Stiles said, unknowing that she couldn't hear him

"Anyways, I've always thought that we've had this kind of connection, unspoken of course. except when we talked the other day, I don't know about you but I, uh, I felt sparks. Um, I also have this mark, you know the soulmate mark thing? And I've always just felt that you had the same one, you know? Maybe it'd be kind of cool to um get to know each other a little better."

Finally realizing she could just take the earphones out (sometimes she didn't really think) she said, "I'm so sorry Stiles, I didn't hear anything you said. I had earphones in, and when I saw you talking to me I tried to lower the volume, but it wasn't working, and then after you finished, I realized I could just take them out. Sometimes I don't really think. Don't get me wrong, I'm not stupid or anything, you know what sorry I'm off track. The point is, could you repeat what you just said."
