Drew's P.O.V;

The doctors let Marni go home the next day, thank God. Everyone was acting like me having to spend every minute with her was a bad thing, ya right.

They sent a wheelchair home with us, she's not supposed to walk on her ankle, at least until they figure out what's wrong.

I feel really bad for her, she really hasn't been acting like her usual bubbly self. She doesn't want to do much but that's okay as long as I get to be with her. She has to go back to the doctor once every week for new tests.

Finally they realize that there's something actually wrong, sure took them long enough.

Well that's what's happened in the past couple days.

Marni was taking a nap upstairs while I made whole wheat spaghetti for lunch, it's her favorite.

I was just draining the noodles when the house phone began to ring, I picked it up. It was the doctor, he told me that I need to bring her back tomorrow morning. Wonderful. The call was short.

I had finished making her lunch so I tip toed up the stairs and slowly opened her tall wooden door. She looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake her up. I lightly tapped her shoulder and she shook awake within seconds.

"Sweetie I made you Lunch" I told her as I helped her into her wheelchair, once we reached the top of the stairs she hopped on my back, I set her down on the leather couch and brought her a plate of food.

She finished so I went to wash all of the dishes, once I was done I made my way back to the living room But she had already drifted back to sleep.

After a couple hours I fell asleep next to her.

My alarm went off at 8:40 because she had to be at the hospital by 9:30, the sound must have startled her because she gasped and jumped a little.

"Hun, it's time to get ready, you need to go back to the doctor" she sighed as a picked her up, we trudged up the stairs and we began to get ready.

Once we were both ready and packed up in the car we made our way to the doctor which had become a much too familiar route by now.

We arrived and got sent straight to a small white room.

A short darker nurse came into the room, no expression on her face.

"So we did more tests, went into great detail on your ankle, something is really wrong, you are going to have to be sent up to an amazing hospital in L.A... I'm sorry, you have tonight to pack and tomorrow we have you two a flight booked, all accommodations on us, 5 star hotel and everything, we want you to be comfortable." She explained to us.

Well free trip to L.A, thats cool I guess, but she better be okay.

They let us go home after that, once again the drive was completely silent. Marni just stared straight ahead the whole way back. Well this will be just wonderful.
