"Michael I don't see the point in having kik. If I wanted to text someone I would text them from their actual phone number and not an app." I said not knowing why my best friend wanted me to get this stupid app.
"The point is you can meet new people and start fresh. That's how I met my other friend who you don't know. But anyways just give it a try and love it. And let me know if you find any hot guys who you don't want." Michael winked at me and walked away. I groaned at him but signed up for kik like he told to do. I started filling out the information.
Username? I thought to myself. What should I put?
I settled on AshIrwie because, why not?
Kik name? When will this ever end with the information?
For that I put Drummer Ash since I play the drums. Finally I had finished with all the sign up process and turned my phone off.
About 10 minutes later, my phone goes off with a notification.
Kik: New chat with Lukey Hemmo!
"Who's that?" I mumble to myself. I unlock my phone and go to kik to see who it is and what they said.
Lukey Hemmo: Hi there!
Drummer Ash: Do I know you?
