Melissa's POV

Monroe looked at me than at Will. "This is your boyfriend?" He says with a laugh walking around Will and I looking at us up and down observing us. "Why Will? Why the coward?" He spits his question. "He was there for me when no one else was. We had this spark of love for each other." I say happily. "Why is Monroe here Liss?" He asks me. "He's my step dad." I say harshly giving Monroe a glare. It was silent. No one spoke. Monroe giving us a glare and we give him a glare back. Then my mom walked in. "Ah Sasha! Let me take that for you." Monroe says taking the box from my mother. They walked into the kitchen cooking the rest of dinner. I walked over to the couch and Will followed. "I finished my training." I said with a smile and a sigh. "What did you rank?" He asks. "First. They offered me leadership as a job but I denied. I decided to train recruits." I say. "Enough about me what about you?" I ask. "Been traveling with the Johnson patrol. Collected some new recruits." He says "at least I'm home." He says with a smile. "And don't you ever leave me again." I say with a laugh and give him a kiss on the cheek. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." Monroe says and walks over to us. I frown at him. "He is a solider and he will go we're I order him to go." He says and looks at me. "Why?" I spit out. "Why?!?" I start to shout. "He will not leave me again!" I yell tears rolling down my eyes. I try and attack Monroe, but Will holds me back. I try and push him back so I can fight Monroe, but Will is stronger than I am so I give up. I turn around and hug Will. Tears are rolling down my eyes. "Dinner is ready." My mom says softly ignoring the fight like it never happened. We walk to the table and sit down close to each other. He holds my hand under the table. As we start to eat Monroe starts asking Will questions. "How old are you?" He asks his first question. "Eighteen." He states proudly.

"Aren't you alittle old to date my step daughter?"

"Shut up Monroe." I spit

He ignores me and continues his questions. The questions go on and on until I can not take it anymore. I stand up swiftly and say "I'm going to bed." And walk upstairs. I start undressing. I only sleep in my underwear and bra unless I'm out on missions. Then I hear a "hey." I turn around. It was Will. "How long were you standing there?" I ask with embarrassment. "Not long enough." He says with a wink. I giggle. I throw a pillow at him. He catches it and walks in. "So were am I going to sleep?" He asks me. "In here were else." I say and wrap my arms around his neck and give him a kiss. The warmth of his lips made me melt with pleasure and I didn't want to stop. I push him against the wall and I put my hands in his hair pulling at it as we kiss. Then I break the kiss. I didn't want to get too far. "I think I should go to bed." I say and lie down on my bed pulling the comforter over my body and I fall asleep
