UGHHHH! I'm dying without internet!!! Sorry Im having issues.
Shane's POV
I couldn't stop my tears from coming. This was so hard, what if he didn't except us. What if he gets mad. What if he gets violent. I would have to protect Joey. He looks strong, I-I don't know how much I would be able to take. Joe looked at both Joey and I before he spoke.
Joe: No, no, don't cry, its ok! I love you Joey you're my son! I will always accept you! And Shane, you seem like a very nice young man, and I am excited to get to know you!
I was shocked by his words. I felt my self relax as Joey's hand loosened. None of us moved, Joe continued to stare at Joey and I. I kept looking at him, afraid to move. Joe stood up and walked over to Joey. He stood in front of him and began to speak.
Joe: Stand up son.
I reluctantly released his hand, and he stood up in front of his dad. Neither of them said a word when his father wrapped his, rather large, arms around his son. Joey hugged him back, and they stayed like that for awhile.
Joe: I love you son.
Joey: I love you too dad.
Nichole and I looked at each other, we both had a tender smile on our faces. Joey and his dad pulled apart, and he looked at me.
Joe: Shane, may I hug you too.
I nodded my head and stood. He wrapped his mussily arms around me, I did the same. When we pulled apart he held onto my shoulders and looked into my eyes.
"I am excited to get to know you." He said with a smile.
I smiled back shyly at him, and he let go. We both sat back down, I grabbed Joey's hand again.
Joe: So how long are you going to be in Boston?
I looked over at Joey.
Joey: Two more days.
Joe: Great! Would you two like to stay here for the next two days?
Joey: Dad, thats not necessary. I would hate to be a burden.
Joe: Joey, you would not be a burden! It would be my pleasure to have the two of you around! And I want to get to know Shane a little better!
Joey: Well if you insist, but we have to go back to mom's to get our cloths and stuff.
Joe: Thats perfectly fine! Ill make dinner while you are gone!
Joey: O-ok dad. See you in a few, I guess.
