The Rain

The Rain.

It falls on my face,

melting with my tears.

As I watch your sillohette disappear

in between the shafts

of moonlight.

Letting you go,

was it wrong?

was ir right?

I wonder if I'll ever know.

I lay on the grass,

dark clouds swarm overhead,

only the rain and me.

Wishing you were here instead

I run my fingers

through my hair

As I remember you,

hurt

standing there.

I want to take it back,

more than you know.

the rain keeps me company,

while I wait...

for snow.
