My breathing stops
My pounding heart stills
A moment of silence
My fear instills
Somewhere.
He is in pain
Without me there
To still his shaking hands
To tell him I care
Somewhere.
He is scared
His breath coming in short small gasps
Afraid of pain that is consuming him
Hoping it will not last
Somewhere....
