Without the pain

Without the bittersweet memories

That haunt us

Every day

Don't look back

Jump all in

I'll be happy for you

This you will see

If you escape

Don't come back for me

I'm used to

The chains

Burning into my skin

I'm no stranger

To the darkness 

Of the human heart

The cold

Has been there 

All along

If you find a way

To escape the prison 

Of sorrow and guilt

Don't bother 

Turning around

You won't like what you see

So just don't

Don't come back for me

I don't want your pity

Don't want your help

Theres no way out for me

You may

Turn out differently

I have no need

For your flowery words

Speaking of hope

That will never be returned

Drop the mask

Just leave me be

If you escape my fate

Don't come back for me.
